We were nervous about this hotel after reading some of the reviews, however we could not fault our stay.|The road outside the hotel is only allowed to be used by permitted vehicles, so chances are you will be dropped on the road about 2 minute walk from the hotel. It’s pretty easy to find if you just look for the sign above the doorway. |On arrival, there is a telephone number on the door which you telephone to get details of the key code (located at the main entrance) needed to release your key. We didn’t struggle with getting in touch with the owner and he also contacted us on WhatsApp with all the details. There isn’t 24/7 staff but the owner was easy to contact if there was any issues. From a security point of view, you have to scan through 2 doors and the apartment doors double lock which provided us with peace of mind. |Previous reviews mention the stairs being dark… they are, but there is a light switch. |Our room was basic, but featured a comfy bed, dresser, kettle and wardrobe space. The bathroom also had complimentary shampoo and toiletries. Again, previous reviews mention this hotel being 10PLZ a night… again, they have not read the sign enough as this is how much it is an hour to keep the room on after your 11am check out. There is also free WiFi!! |In terms of location, you are right in the middle of the old town, just off the main square - the perfect location to be. It made it easy to nip in and out of the room without too much hassle and put you in a prime location for where many of the trips run from. Although it was a busy area, the room was quiet and we had no trouble sleeping. We were in room 5, which overlooked the main square street and the windows did a great job of blocking the noise. |Overall, we loved our stay here and would...
Read more1st of all this is not a hotel as advertised it’s apartments . We had a quadruple luxury room which was not luxury . Stains on the sofa bed and worn laminate flooring and crack in ceiling in bathroom it was more like an hostel . Advertised through our supplier as mimi bar and coffee machine . We had a fridge and a kettle no coffee maker . Tea and coffee but no milk cartons supplied maybe that’s a polish thing . Breakfast however which was included in the nearby cafe was excellent and would recommend that . The alarm in the apartment went off at 4 am the 1 st night so we obviously got up to evacuate the premises by our own steam may I add . We were outside the apartments for around 30mins and Everyone was trying to get hold of the owners even though it’s advertised as 24 hour reception no reception in this building . When finally got hold of him he was very disgruntled as obviously everyone was trying to get hold of him which was understandable as we all were eager to know if it was safe to go back into the building . Not a great experience having to evacuate in the early hours .land not having anyone there to advise . The building is also not ideal for anyone who struggles to go upstairs we are all fit but even we struggled we were on the 3rd and 4th floors , this also should be advertised as a lot of people would struggle with the stairs if on the higher levels . The only good thing about these apartments is the location for krakow town which is excellent for all the bars etc and the fantastic breakfast . Sadly I would not return after my experience of these apartments . We were a group of 4 and we are not picky travellers but the apartments did not stand up to as per...
Read moreReview of hotel experience at ‘Boutique ApartHotel & Apartments’
We can highly recommend the hotel ‘Boutique ApartHotel & Apartments’ when choosing to visit the city of Krakow in Poland.
Our reasoning comes from the fact that we first come to Krakow in the middle of the night. We inform the hotel a few days before that we arrive late at night and the hotel staff informs that it is not a problem. We arrive at the hotel at night and are well received by the friendly receptionist. The receptionist explains a bit about the hotel, the rules and how keys and cards work as well as WIFI. It's a good experience for me and my girlfriend. During the days we are in Krakow, we experience a good room service. When we have been out and experienced Krakow, meanwhile, the room that we were assigned has been tidy and clean. The receptionist, who was at the hotel every day, has been incredibly nice to talk to and very open and welcoming and also very helpful if we have had some questions. The room we got was very large. We had a huge bed, couch and also a small place where we could storage our drinks and food but also place our stuff. There were also a TV but we didn't use it because we don't understand polish, but it is there and useable.
Therefore, in the big picture, we only had positive experiences by staying at Boutique ApartHotel & Apartments and therefore we also think that many others should book a trip to Krakow and rent a room at the hotel. It was worth the money and the experience. We will strongly return and experience much more of Krakow and the great service.
If we could give points, the hotel and staff get 5pts out of 5pts.
With best wishes, Anders and Mia, 8th...
