We ate at Sioix in the Main Square in Krakow twice during our three night stay in Krakow in December 2024. The first occasion we ate outside in the 'conservatory ' on the main square for our evening meal and the second, we ate in the main dining area in the lower ground floor, when we stopped for lunch before heading to the airport and our flight back home.
The conservatory is really cosy and very Christmassy but unlike some, and being overly critical, the glazed panels don't go all the way to the ground so there's quite a chilly breeze coming under the glass, resulting in cold legs, that said there were plenty of blankets.
The staff, on both occasions, were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. We weren't rushed on either of our visits and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The service was good as was the food. We really enjoyed both of our visits and would definitely visit again.
The price was pretty much on a par with the other restaurants that we visited on the main square, which we found were slightly more than those found on the roads approaching the square or adjacent to it. But the atmosphere and feel of Christmas was excellent.
Our meals and drinks arrived together everything. The local beer, especially the wheat beer, was really good. My wife enjoyed the mulled wine too.

Read moreI had a really enjoyable experience at this Western-style Mexican restaurant. The decor had a fun Western-Mexican vibe, and the ambiance was lively but not too noisy, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends.
The food was delicious, with bold flavors and generous portions. We ordered the Fried chicken wings, Garlic bread with cheese, Cheese burger, Hot cheese burger and a chicken burger with a side of french fries.
Just a fair warning the garlic bread is very heavy, it’s not actually the traditional garlic bread. It is normal bread with the garlic taste and cheese. The bread is very big, thick and super filling. After I ate it I was basically full.
The fries were not French fries, they were chunky chips, I don’t really like chunky chips, and additionally to that the chips just didn’t really taste nice. But the burgers were amazing full of flavour and very filling. I definitely recommend getting the Cheese burger.
The barbecue sauce they used is absolutely amazing. I am a barbecue sauce lover and that is one of the best barbecue sauce I’ve ever tasted. It literally made everything I ordered taste so much better.
We had an amazing waiter called Marek (his Polish name) his English name is Mark. His was attentive, funny and just a great guy. The food came out quickly and it was hot which is what you look for and want. Overall it was a great experience, if you’re in the area this is definitely a place...
Read moreFound this place in Krakow as I really fancied a good meat meal. Saw this place was recommended and found out why. The place is a Wild West themed restaurant right out of Yellowstone. We went in the afternoon before the dinner rush and got seated no problem. Our waiter was Marek and he couldn't be more helpful. Got our order right, made sure everything was OK and nothing a problem. I ordered the ribs, and my wife had the burger. The ribs were a highlight to my day...so tender and flavoured just right...I literally picked the bones out the ribs, as the meat was that tender. I felt bad leaving all the side salad as I could see the chef had really prepared everything fresh...but I still wanted to try the ice cream and chimney cakes after my meal so wanted to leave room for it all. This place was so good we went back so I could try the burger and my wife had the tagliatelle the second time. Just as good as the first time. Even the loos are Wild West themed. After we received the bill as well as including a 10% tip, we couldn't believe how cheap the meal was. Makes you suddenly realise living in the UK, how you pay double for poor quality food. If I lived in Krakow, Sioux would be my...
