Good location: Easy to find. Within close distance from the train/bus station and centre of Old Town. Most importantly on the green belt around the city almost in the direction of the Jewish quarter, the district called Kazimierz. Reception: good positioning of the seating area in relation to the check-in desk at least when it's not busy. Comfortable sofas and seats and the rest of the furniture and dudas are very tasteful. Staff: friendly and helpful. Easy to understand. Facilitues: good, clean. I can tell that they are more than sufficient for the business travellers. But could be improved for the holiday travellers: No bar room service appears to be available after 10pm, so no late nights with a bottle of prosecco unless you organise it before 10pm, which they will happily help with. No bath for those sightseeing on their feet - however it did include an excellent shower. Breakfast: good coffee machines, brown and rye breads. Continental and one of the better ones encountered in Poland, but the following could be improved: fairly slow grill toaster - I would replace it with cheap toaster instead. Runny scrambled eggs (unfortunately a common thing in Poland) on the last day of our visit. Also on the last day of our visit our mugs could have been cleaner (found in almost all the mugs was a puddle of water or a dried residue probably from the water puddle where the mugs were washed a few days earlier) Hallways were clean and with a clear company colours deco. Rooms: they are modern enough to include a plug by each side of the bed (many high end hotels are missing these) Multiple plugs by the desk/bar by the window. Our window was looking out onto the green belt. Lifts: these are not the most clever. The Android screen was not functioning correctly. But they were clean and looked well and in good repair. The larger of these doubles as a freight elevator and is used by room maids. Overall quite happy with my stay at the hotel...
Read moreStayed here for four nights with my wife and got back last night. ||POSITIVES:||- Fantastic location. Couldn’t fault it. Right beat everywhere we fancied visiting and some cool places on its doorstep for breakfast etc. ||- Archie on reception is a legend. Super chill guy. Really accommodating. Gave us tips on some great places to eat and was always very welcoming and helpful. This guy needs a pay rise!||- Room was a decent enough size and fairly clean. ||NEGATIVES:||- Only negative was the noise on a couple of days which was the noise of banging and drilling etc. We did speak to other guests who had complained about and we didn’t as it didn’t impact us other than on one day when I had a headache and was trying to catch a rest. This was during the day so we didn’t mention it but imagine anyone nursing a hangover might not have taken kindly to it. Again, a small issue and wouldn’t deter us from staying again. ||Will be back here next time we...
Read moreThe breakfast was great and there were a lot of food choices. The additional cost was ok. The rooms were very spacey and the internet speed was definitely above average. The location of the hotel is close to the Old Town, so someone would not have to use a car (even if he had one) to get there. The staff was very friendly and their English-speaking skills was very good. The room had air conditioning, but we did not use it.
The parking place was not included in the price and the charge was quite high. In addition to that there weren’t a lot of parking places in the underground parking lot. I wonder what would happen if more guests had to put their cars there. Perhaps there was an additional space, which we did not know about. Another thing was that the bathroom had no active ventilation.
Definitely the hotel to choose if you need to stay in the...
