I recently visited a popular eatery that left quite an impression on me, though it had its ups and downs. The food portions are impressively large, and the prices are very affordable, making it a great value for the money. However, there are a few aspects of the experience that might be worth noting for potential visitors. The restaurant has a somewhat disorganized and chaotic feel, especially when waiting to be seated. The place is relatively small, and the tables are crammed together, which can make for a less comfortable dining environment. Often, different parties end up sharing the same table due to the limited space, which might not be ideal for everyone. The service, while friendly, is on the slower side. It can take a long time for the staff to take your order, and once ordered, the food typically takes about 15 minutes to arrive. Given how busy the place always seems to be, this isn't too surprising, but it is something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry or prefer quicker service.Despite these drawbacks, the food itself is excellent and worth the wait. The Irish breakfast, in particular, stood out as a highlight. It was delicious and well-prepared, capturing the hearty essence of a traditional Irish meal. Another standout dish is the chicken liver. If you're a fan of chicken liver, this is a must-try, as the dish includes about 10 large pieces, cooked to perfection. The coffee served here is also top-notch. It complements the meals wonderfully and is a perfect pick-me-up, especially if you have to endure a longer wait. The quality of the coffee alone makes a visit worthwhile. In summary, while the crowded and cramped environment, along with the slower service, can make the experience less than perfect, the excellent food and coffee make up for it. If you don't mind a bit of a wait and sharing a table with strangers, you'll be rewarded with large portions of tasty, affordable food. This place is definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for a bustling atmosphere and some wait time due to...

Asian in Krakow, Poland 🤔 Rating: ★★★★☆

Tucked in the picturesque city of Krakow is a rather hipster-ish cafe/milk bar that serves traditional Polish food for the 21st century diner.

In terms of Polish food, it serves the traditional dumplings at an affordable price! Although given the portion, it is advisable to eat this as a main course or to share between 2 people. Their breakfast menu is also all-day long!

Breakfast options here are incredibly delicious. The pancakes (for this store, they’re more crepes instead of pancakes) are hand made, and everything is made to order. While this means that you have to wait a little longer, it is worth every minute of your time that you’ll spend there.

I ordered the poached eggs, bacon and toast set. It comes with savoury butter, and everything was cooked to perfection! The poached eggs were lightly seasoned too, although the hint of vinegar might put off some. My friend ordered the eggs with salmon and toast, and he felt that the eggs were cooked perfectly and the salmon was fresh. Food definitely hits the mark for delicious factor!

However, because the place has serious spacial constrains, it would be wise of you to plan ahead to dine this place when it is off-peak; in between breakfast and lunch hours and tea time, before or late after dinner hours are some periods I would recommend.

This is a definitely a must-visit when in Krakow to try both traditional and contemporary food. Reasonable prices, prime location and cosy ambience makes for an authentic experience. I’d advise to keep your party between 1-4 persons, although there is a rather long table in the center for a party of 4-8, it might be hard to seat everyone there as it is meant...

After three years in Poland, this is the store with the worst attitude I've ever encountered! The waiter misplaced the lady next door's food in front of my table, and since I really didn't know much about exactly what was in the food I ordered, I just started eating it. Immediately followed by another serving of the food I actually ordered. The waiter immediately said you have to pay for this food if you ate it wrong, and the lady at the front desk immediately came up to me and said you have to pay for the food you ate wrong! First of all I recognize my mistake in not acknowledging the food in time when I saw it, but may I ask if it was not your mistake to put the food in front of me? The two waiters kept repeatedly and seriously telling me the entire time that you have to pay for this food that you ate wrong! Not a word of apology!! Blaming the customer for all the process! I can't believe such a horrible...
