Obviously there is a rich selection of beers. The place is highly popular and has a comfortable atmosphere. However, as tourists, we were disappointed by the service. Working also in the tourism industry, I do get the overwhelming feeling of a restaurant/bar being as busy as it gets. However, a friendly demeanour is a must. Even though there were a couple of free tables and we did see another one just being cleared, the waitress told us that we could only go to the basement. We were fine with that but asked whether we could order the same thing there, received a positive response. At the actual basement, we got comfortable and decided on our selection of drinks. Going up to the bar to order, things were moving extremely slow despite the small line. Our turn came and they told us that the beer we wanted from the menu was “maybe” available only at the bar upstairs and they couldn’t serve it to us downstairs. I chose another one from the menu I had scanned using the cube code located in the basement and was told the same thing. Total time wasted, almost an hour.
