Riverside Aparthotel Kraków — Hotel in Krakow

We had an apartment on the second floor with river view. If you travel as a family with kids this choice is very practical as you get a small apartment with kitchen and a separate bedroom while in the living room you have a large couch to comfortable sleep another 2 people. You have available all the bedding, towels, toiletries, hair dryer, even iron board and iron. The kitchen if fully equipped fridge, plates glasses etc I just wished they had a small dishwasher incorporated too. There is a bigger storage place as you enter on side I almost missed so check for it if you need more space beside the dresser attached to the kitchen furniture.||One of the main advantages of this place is the enclosed parking just make sure you announce in advance as space is limited. I don't necessary recommend the river view as you actually see just the river no historical building so you can also take the street side view, good news the river side is not noisy as a main road is close by but the bedroom was quite. Very clean overall. Very nice reception personnel they all spoke very good English.||Location is very good as you are not in the old town but very close to it. it`s just cross the bridge to get to the Wawel Castle and then you can continue to the old town. We took 20 minutes from the hotel to the old town main square if you take the shortest way. Also around 20 minutes to the heart of the historical Jewish quarter.||A lot of options to buy very good bread, cakes and pastries just in a range of 5 min walk from hotel but what I missed is a good restaurant around so rather plan that you eat in the other areas and you leave just small eats for the hotel or close. We preferred to buy fresh bread and pastries in the morning at one of the bakeries just few steps away from hotel and take lunch and dinner while we were visiting the historical areas of the city....

This is a nice place in a convenient location. It is perfect for people who are in Krakow for a couple of days and want to be close to the old town but not pay the prices of accommodation in the old town. My apartment was well furnished and modern. ||There were three issues during my stay, however, that resulted in the lower rating. First, the advertisements say that there are laundry facilities available, but they do not seem to be available to guests. Instead, guests have to pay for a laundry service, and it is unclear how to order that service. The second issue was that the WiFi in my apartment was awful mainly because the router was located in a box in the wall by the door. This meant that the signal did not reach to the main living areas (kitchen, dining, and living rooms) of the apartment. The final issue, and most significant, was that throughout the length of my 7-night stay, my apartment was never cleaned, the linens were never changed, and the garbage was never removed. This is shocking service, particularly for such a long stay.||That is why I went with the title "not for long stays". These three issues are not likely to affect most short-term stays, leaving the advantages outlined in the first paragraph (indeed, I would have given it a 4+ for a one or two-night stay). However, I would suggest that anyone wishing to stay more than 3 nights should look elsewhere where you will get the proper service and care that longer-term...

I booked this place through 'BookingDOTcom' at a fantastic price and was so please with my stay here at the Riverside Aparthotel. The check-in felt a little sketchy at 1st as I didn't even need to give my name or any details and was given my key to the apartment I was staying in. However, I was communicating with the owner and she knew my ETA and also the fact I was with a big group of 8 guys! ||||Went up to the apartment and I was so pleased. With such a big group we managed to fit everyone in well and everybody had a comfortable nights sleep each night. The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated with a nice feature wall. All the beds were comfy including both sofa beds we had too. Most importantly for me, the bathroom was very clean with a decent shower with unlimited hot water. Couldn't be more pleased. ||||The location of the apartment was great too. Wonderful view of the castle with only a short walk into the Main Square or the Jewish Quarter, super easily to get everywhere and an easy location for taxi drivers to pick-up/drop you off. ||||Overall, a fantastic place and would highly...
