Gast House — Hotel in Faro

Our one-night stay at this property on a narrow street was good. Located conveniently close to the train station and surrounded by several eateries, it offered us a place to rest before our morning departure by train back to Lisbon. Navigating with wheeled luggage from/to the train station was hassle-free, thanks to the property's proximity.

Access to the upper-floor room was through a very narrow staircase from the kitchen. Despite the narrow stairs, the room itself was a haven of cleanliness and comfort. Equipped with reliable internet, a TV for entertainment, and a wonderfully spacious balcony.

The shared washroom and kitchen were clean and well-maintained. The Nepalese restaurant just a few doors down was a culinary gem. We did hear people partying in the neighbourhood until very late in the night but it wasn't that bad and you do get ear plugs (in nightstand by the bed) to help you sleep.

In conclusion, this property offers a good blend of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. Whether you're stopping over or exploring the area, it provides a welcoming retreat with all the essentials and a touch of character. Stayed for one night. It's got a big apartment, living room, bedroom and kitchen. Stairs up to a 'balcony' with no view or really any outside space.

The bed is uncomfortable and small but did the job.

There is a kitchen supplied with tea and biscuits which is a nice touch.

It looks quite dated which is in line with the general area.

There is a night club nearby which is loud after hours for light sleepers.
