Tucked away in a cozy corner, this rustic Nepalese restaurant is a true hidden gem for lovers of bold, authentic flavors. From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere and the friendly service make you feel right at home. The staff are attentive, always ready with recommendations, and genuinely passionate about sharing the rich culinary heritage of Nepal.
Now, letâs talk about the foodâbecause thatâs where this place truly shines. Every dish bursts with flavor, but the chilli chicken momos are on another level. Soft, perfectly pleated dumplings packed with juicy, spiced chicken arrive steaming hot. But the real magic happens when you add the extra chillies or drizzle them with the house-made chilli oil. The heat builds beautifully, complementing the savory filling without overpowering it. Itâs an explosion of spice, umami, and pure deliciousness.
Beyond the momos, the menu offers a variety of traditional dishes that deliver on taste and authenticity. From rich, comforting dal bhat to smoky, perfectly grilled sekuwa, every bite feels like a journey to the heart of Nepal. And despite the high-quality ingredients and generous portions, the prices remain incredibly reasonableâmaking this spot a must-visit for both casual diners and seasoned foodies alike.
Whether youâre a spice lover or just looking for a great meal with a welcoming vibe, this restaurant is a standout. Come for the momos, stay for the warm hospitality, and leave already planning...
Read moreThroughout my three-month stay in the Algarve, I found myself irresistibly drawn to an authentic Nepali restaurant, despite it being 60 kilometers away from my Airbnb. The exceptional food and warm hospitality compelled me to make the journey not once, but multiple times a week. It's arguably the best Nepali restaurant in the Algarve, if not in Portugal.
A must-visit establishment, this restaurant is managed by generous owners and staffed by cheerful personnel, making every visit a delightful experience that evoked fond memories of Nepal. The young chefs exhibit remarkable skill, crafting exquisite dishes that consistently exceeded expectations.
On one occasion, the owner even accommodated a special request for a thali, which was prepared to perfection, surpassing what I had anticipated. The restaurant's commitment to authentic flavors and genuine service ensures that I will certainly return the next time I am...
Read moreI was in Faro for a few days and walked past this little restaurant on my way to the hotel. I'd never eaten Nepalese food before so gave it a try.
The food was amazing - cooked fresh to order, and tasted delicious. I began with chicken gyozos - a huge plateful of 10, with a spicy peanut sauce. I was asked if I'd like any other sauces, so also had sweet chilli. I ate every bit!
I then decided on a creamy mushroom curry with rice, and a roti. Well cooked, and really hit the spot! I'd planned on trying gulab jamin for dessert, but was just too full.
Prices are cheap - too cheap for the quantity and quality of the food. My 330ml beer was âŹ1.80, and they had many other drinks, including traditional lassi.
I fully recommend this amazing little restaurant! They also...
