Like Home by Madrabica — Hotel in Lisbon

2nd-floor single room in a 5-unit building with no elevator, 1.5 shared bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, city center, and attractions, but there's noise from a bar downstairs at night. I'm scared passing by the local bar at night and almost tripped over wires on the ground..

The owner has partially renovated the apartment, with one person per room. I stayed for 4 nights; the first 2 were quiet, but the last 2 were noisy due to 3 Korean guests. The owner tried to intervene but was unsuccessful; they even cooked and chatted loudly in the kitchen at 12:30 am. The missing milk from the fridge was replaced by the owner.

Mi experiencia no pudo ser peor, contratamos este apartamento con booking, y al llegar no podíamos pasar con el coche, era una calle estrecha y estaba con coches aparcados, llamamos como diez veces para recoger la llave y no lo cogían, entonces nos presentamos allí, tocamos todos los timbres y al 6 timbrazo nos recibió una señora q no hablaba nada español y la sorpresa fue q solo tenia un apartamento reservado cuando eran dos, nos pasó p teléfono con el dueño y nos dijo q volviéramos a las siete de la tarde para solucionarlo, vamos todo el día en calle con 5 niños, al ver el apartamento, el suelo se movía y estaba en un barrio q daba miedo de andar y todo súper sucio, los críos estaban asustados, llamamos a booking para cancelar y nos dijo q en media hora nos llamarían cosa q no hicieron, llamamos nosotros 2 horas después y en vez de intentar solucionar el problema lo alargaron, a las 8 de la tarde nos llamaron para ofrecernos otro apartamento, pero los móviles sin baterías y después de llamar como 4 veces a booking en vez de hacernos ellos las reservas nos pidieron q la hiciéramos nosotros, vamos q les importo una mierda q estuviesemos todo el día en la calle con 5 críos, gracias al dueño de los apartamentos q se ofreció a solucionar nuestro problema y lo gestionó el todo, un...

The location was perfect. Close to transit and all amenities. Feels local and not too touristy. The host was wonderful and knowledgeable. There are quite a few good restaurants close by, people come from other areas to taste the food. So if you are a foodie, you are in luck.
