I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible vegan sushi restaurant in Lisbon, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Traveling solo, I was welcomed into an atmosphere that felt more like a cozy living room than a restaurant — warm, relaxed, and full of good energy. I started with a delicious appetizer and followed it with a main course, accompanied by a glass of wine. Every bite was a delight — truly a feast for the senses. Just as I was about to leave, completely happy and satisfied, the chef surprised me with a cortesía — four pieces of sushi, each unique and unbelievably tasty. But it didn’t stop there. I was gifted four more pieces to try, and each one took me further on a journey of flavors. The experience reminded me of visiting my grandparents: my grandfather cooking with love, and my grandmother joyfully insisting I eat more. The staff were so kind and welcoming — it felt like being part of a family dinner. If there’s one small regret, it’s that I came alone and couldn’t try the sushi boat. But that just gives me a reason to come back — next time, with friends. Without a doubt, this is one of the best vegan sushi restaurants in the world. A must-visit for anyone in Lisbon.

We loved it! We never had only vegan sushi before. Before arriving in Lisbon I researched and found the advice for this restaurant on the website of timeout. We are not (yet) vegans but this restaurant you should definitely check out. We had the Menu Degustation. We could eat as much as we wanted for around 22 Euros per Person. On the day we went we didn't make an reservation and still got a place. The service took probably a bit longer than normally since it was one Day before New Years. But we didn't care. It was an amazing experience and we enjoyed being there, talking and enjoying the amazing food. They should definitely make a cooking book! :) It's a bit up the hill, and it took some time until we were there and we could only pay with cash, but the view which we had when going up was amazing. I recommend walking up and taking home Bolt Uber or a Taxi.

Leo and the staff were all AMAZING not to mention the food. The food was top tier and we came in 1 hour before they closed which they still made us feel welcome and accommodated our order. The sushi here IS THE BEST sushi I've had and that not an exaggeration. Leo had one of those restaurants that is still around after covid and that says a lot, it's a perfect place to eat with friends, have something refreshing, and enjoy the vibrations. We ordered the tempura, gyosas, spicy jack, hot roll, and we also ordered a rice paper roll which was DELICIOUS. I eat rice paper alone when I have sushi but to have as a sushi roll, was 10/10 for me. Thank you Leo for making our stay here so welcome and feeding us so well. May god bless you in many ways. We appreciate you ! -with love from me and my friends/family

We decided to wait until the excitement and state of highness could cool down to write a more objective review about the place and our experience. But that never really happened. So here we go... There are only a few moments in life where you come to experience pure, true passion and creativity - and this was 100% the case with Legumi. Starting with the presentation, continued by inovative use of ingredients, concluding in a spectacularly, sensually overwhelming explosion of flavours - not even mentionning the exceptional warmness and competence of the personell. Every dish, every ingredient, every touch of every single dish unveiled what you can only call the work of an artist, thouroughly thought through until it's tinest detail, finding its way to us, accompanied with a genuine smile. The place took us completely by surprise and we were totally blown away by all of it. We spent hours talking about this experience and it is abslutely frustrating not being able to put every bit of this incredible found into words and into this, but it is simply that we felt that this is a case where money is not enough and we felt we owe a close-to-truthful recollection of what we felt and tasted here. As a little parenthesis, I am no vegan myself, my partner is, but for this place I could easily let go of the old, traditional ways of japenese food. Thank you for everything - We hope that you will arrive where you...

Both the food and the delivery treatment were awful. We ordered a delivery an hour an a half ago. We waited patiently for the time it was supposed to arrive at, and when it didn't arrive we tried to call the restaurant multiple times but it was almost impossible to reach them.

When they finally answer, the woman told me it would take another 30 minutes! It was so rude to not even let me know and ask me if I'd like to wait or cancel the order.

But that's not all! Because half an hour later, when the order AGAIN didn't arrive. After 2 hours it has finally arrived. Cold, of course.

We took the 30 pc set and a starter. The set arrives with about 10 different kinds of sushi. Honestly, none of them was good. Some even not edible to me.

Flavors not balanced, fruits in the sushi (seriously? If I have wanted a fruit plate I would have ordered one), most of the rolls are super simple with the most basic vegetables, I honestly don't know what the fuss is all about.

Needless to say I'd never order from there again. For others who actually know what a good vegan sushi is and actually have standart, you can skip this place and save yourself the...
