FMO Apartments Boavista — Hotel in Porto

Here's the review in English:

I absolutely cannot recommend this apartment. The bathroom grout is a complete disaster—dirty and unsightly. For three people staying for 3.5 days, we were given only two rolls of toilet paper—totally insufficient! There was soap for the shower and handwashing, but no cotton swabs, which I consider a basic item for any well-equipped hotel room.

We booked the room for Friday, but when we arrived, no one answered the phone. Instead, we received an rude message stating that check-in was only available on Saturday, which was incorrect! We were never informed that we had to send our data beforehand. Only after sending everything via email did we receive the access code. This cost us nearly two hours of wasted time.

The customer service is absolutely terrible. They don’t respond to calls, and emails are answered very unreliably and often rudely. In the middle of our stay, the door code stopped working, and we were locked out for nearly two hours before someone showed up to help.

The value for money is horrible. In the second room, we had a balcony, but the balcony door wouldn't even open, and none of the windows could be operated. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend...

Absolutely terrible experience. First, the host claimed we arrived a day early – even though our booking was correct – which already started things off on the wrong foot. Communication was a nightmare: he doesn’t answer calls at all, only responds (eventually) via email. At one point, we were completely locked out of our room because the keypad failed, and since he wouldn’t answer his phone, we had to wait outside for over 30 minutes. Ich bin ein wenig und unschlüssig wie ich das ganze hier bewerten soll. Habe mir auch andere Bewertungen durchgelesen. Also wir sind in Zimmer 4 sehr geräumig. Die Betten sind bequem und Klima und Kühlschrank funktionieren. Die Lage ist auch super und wir parken unser Auto im Parkhaus la musica direkt gegenüber. Online gibt es auch einen Rabatt wenn man mehrere Tage bleibt. Nun zu den Abzügen. Die Fugen in der Dusche alle verschimmelt, das ist echt nicht so schwer das zu tauschen und für mich einfach Faulheit oder den max. Ertrag aus einer Immobilie rausquetschen. Deswegen auch der starke Abzug an Sternen, wenn man sein Hotel liebt und die Gäste wertschätzt achtet man auf solche Details. Zusätzlich haben wir einen Zugang zur Terrasse/ Balkon im Hinterhof. Die Türe ist aber nicht Abschließbar und man kann also von außen immer reinkommen wenn man es in den Hinterhof schafft. Der Holzboden ist auch schon stark mitgenommen und verkratzt.
