Manor House Porto — Hotel in Porto

We loved the huge apartment and the views from the living room of the famous bridge. We arrived two days late on a Sunday due to a storm in Texas and no one received us at the building or check to see if we were ok or happy with the place.|| There was a very bad sewer smell coming from the bathroom constantly smelling very bad. The kitchen was very large but had very little necessities like our other apartments during our honeymoon in Europe. We never did figure out the tv/dvd players, but we were there much to enjoy them. This was a very unique building with some interesting decorations. ||It has a lot of room with its two large bedrooms and even a big entry room with another bed/couch. So it would great for a family. Location, communication and space are good but during our stay the air was very humid and there was a very unpleasant musty/moldy smell in the apartment. Especially the kitchen wall was very humid. Putting on the heater helped a bit.

It was November and it rained a lot, so maybe it is better in summer or in the suits on the higher floors. We had the charming suite for two persons, which is downstairs.

Nevertheless we were out a lot and enjoyed our time in Porto. Location, was perfect, bed and shower were good, and the view from the garden...

I'm so glad we booked this place to stay whilst visiting Porto to attend a wedding. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. We stayed in the Duplex apartment which included amazing views from the attached garden. The owner was so friendly and helpful. Just a delight to deal with. Rooms are well priced and spotlessly clean. There was free parking for our two motorbikes directly outside the apartments.
