These apartments are good to stay in for visiting Porto without having the hustle and bussle of traffic and people around one. One can take a 20 mins tram ride into Porto stopping near to the Ribeira area, river and other historical sits or a bus ride which takes one to the Sao Bento underground station. The tram ticket is €2.50 and the bus ticket a little cheaper. ||||The apartment is very spacious with 2 bathrooms, the bed is large and there are many chairs and sofas to sit on. The kitchen contains just about everything that one needs. The arty effects around the rooms are very colourful, pleasing and tasteful. ||||The actual location is residential and has cobbled streets. There is quite a steep short walk down to the coast, but then Porto is cobbled and requires fitness to walk around it anyway! There is a neighbours dog which barks a little too often for my liking, but actually, it didn't disturb us too much, I think one gets used to the noise. Otherwise it is a quiet area.||||There is a bread shop not to far away which has a cafe too, where one can pass the day with a cup of coffee or a fresh orange juice combined with a lovely fresh pastry. There are small food shops close by but if one needs proper food then the nearest big supermarket is just before one gets to Porto. If you have a car then that is no problem.||||Parking was easy, one can park in the street, no charge. But is have to say the property was rather difficult to find. We used a map on our mobile phone to track it down, ||||There are a few restaurants near by, all of them were good. One was very reasonable priced and has the shortest walk, the other two were only a little further away, near to the church, lovely food if a little pricey. There is a take away section in the bread shop, but we didn't try it. ||||If one is a runner then Foz is for perfect running along the sea front. One can run a there and back route of around 10k. ||||There is no AC, which was no problem in September, but I think it could be in the warmer/hotter...
