Déjà Vu After Many Years. Returning to Paparoca da Foz after 10 years felt like stepping right back into some of our happiest memories. This was always our special place in Porto – especially for family occasions, like when we celebrated our parents’ (and in-laws’) 83rd birthday here with our children. Every visit was a little feast: the wonderful cakes and rolls, the incredible variety that makes it almost impossible to choose, the bustling atmosphere, and prices that, coming from Germany, we could hardly believe… . The food is decent and it is definitely better than those at the town centre, which are most often tourist traps.
