Déjà Vu After Many Years. Returning to Paparoca da Foz after 10 years felt like stepping right back into some of our happiest memories. This was always our special place in Porto – especially for family occasions, like when we celebrated our parents’ (and in-laws’) 83rd birthday here with our children. Every visit was a little feast: the wonderful cakes and rolls, the incredible variety that makes it almost impossible to choose, the bustling atmosphere, and prices that, coming from Germany, we could hardly believe… . Nothing has changed – the quality, the charm, and the joy are still here!

One of the most reasonably priced restaurant in Porto are the staff are able to communicate with moderate level of English. The food is decent and it is definitely better than those at the town centre, which are most often tourist traps. Eating here will most definitely not feel ripped off and it has a world class seaside view throughout the year. You can get there by taking the Tram 1 route, it is at the second-last stop of the tram. When you finished lunch, I advice getting a nata for takeaway as you walk along the coast line. On every trip we want to find a place that offers exceptional service, a wide variety of quality food and excellent value for money. The fact that we returned here almost every day once we'd found it speaks volumes. Staff are very attentive and helpful.
