Highline Downtown Old Town Unirii Square — Hotel in Bucharest

The photos do not accurately reflect what the rooms are like and are not quite genuine. The listing on Booking.com is under hotel, but this is not a hotel, rather an apartment. Communication from the host only comes as automated messages with the check in codes, they do not answer questions. I was not able to store my luggage, which is why I intended to book a hotel. The building the apartment in is very old with a tiny elevator that works sometimes. From the listing, you would not expect it to be in such a run-down building. I'm posting this review here. The room is nice. Clean. Nice and cozy. The entrance to the building is very bad. It looks strange (in a bad way). A little scary. There is a strange smell. The stairs we went up to the 4th floor are very narrow and spiral. The elevator that is there looks scary and doesn't work. We couldn't find the remote control for the air conditioner in the room and there was no toilet paper. The door to the room is new, but when another room opens nearby, the draft makes noises, you feel like it's going to open, you don't feel safe and it makes noise early in the morning when someone leaves.
