Disappointed by Unexplained Price Surge and Lack of Transparency

I recently attempted to make a reservation at Cristal Hotel for the UNTOLD concert, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by unexpected price hikes and a lack of transparency.

Initially, I was quoted a reasonable rate of 510 euros for the entirety of my stay. However, upon revisiting the site to confirm my reservation, I was shocked to discover that the price had skyrocketed to 3000 RON per night. This sudden and significant increase was not only surprising but also left me feeling misled and disappointed.

Furthermore, despite my inquiry, the hotel failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for this drastic change in pricing. Transparency is crucial in such matters, and the lack thereof has undoubtedly tarnished my perception of Cristal Hotel's integrity and customer service.

Additionally, the absence of clear information regarding the cancellation policy added to my frustration and uncertainty about proceeding with the booking.

Overall, my experience with Cristal Hotel has been disappointing and frustrating. As a customer, I expect transparency, fairness, and clear communication, none of which were evident in this instance. I hope that the hotel management takes steps to address these issues and improve their service standards...

We had an amazing stay here during Untold festival. Suites are modern, HUGE and with comfy beds. The hotel overall is beautiful.

The only minor things I'd point out are; No tea/coffee facilities in room Not enough pillows No price list for mini bar Air con is a bit crazy as it just sporadically blasts cold air. Lack of decent lighting in the room leaves it a bit dark. Breakfast times should have been extended during the festival due to it finishing 5/6am.

That being said, we'll definitely be staying here...

stayed there for a quick night, after my plane landed in Cluj - bed was amazingly comfy, everything was clean and I had a perfect rest. good location. DELICIOUS BREAKFAST! such a great variety and the staff really went all out with the buffet (Dacian was especially kind and helped me with the water dispenser - all staff was very welcoming and helpful) - a vast selection of fresh fruit, cheese platters - what I recommend is the tuna salad and the eggplant salad (Romanian traditional) - I had to take a second...
