Beautiful location, good service, great music, and decent food. We had seen this place many times already, but just never got around to go there. And that's a shame, because it has a lot to offer. The drinks were good, but not perfect (half of the basil in my drink was brown and that is not nice). My wife had a plate of fried seafood and veggies with some sauces. Especially good to see different veggies there. But some had become just mushy, as if it was old. I had a green risotto with roasted cauliflower. Taste was great, but it wasn't really a risotto (it was dry and had the wrong rice). Both dishes were huge portions. They are starters, but could easily be eaten as a main course. Half the size would have been fine. The main course was mussels. Again a large portion, but we worked together on this one. Unfortunately, many mussels were closed. That means they were already dead and can't be eaten (you can get really sick from bad mussels). Then... don't serve them. Also, the bread was not as described on the menu. And part of the mussels were cold. As if they were leftovers that were later added to the rest of the (warm) dish. But he taste was great and that is most important. All in all... the place has beautiful potential, but should pay more attention to...

Deserturile (cheescake japonez, cică, sau budinci de chia) sunt servite pe modul esantion.
Bauturi precum chios spritz nu au niciun fel de savoare.
As zice ca este furt pe fata, la asemenea preturi, ptr ceea ce se ofera, dar suntem de vina noi, cei care mergem, ptr alegerea facuta. 26 de lei un gin tonic???? Dar ce puneti in el? Ca vreau sa mi pun si eu.
Am inteles ca este un obiectiv frumos zona in care sunteti plasati (lacul, parcul, cazinoul), dar din pacate, acum, aceste lucruri, sunt doar pretexte ptr a ,,justifica" explozii de pret. Pacat ca romanii inca se fura intre ei pe fata, avand impresia ca daca au fraierit pe cineva, au realizat ceva fălos, dimpotriva! Noroc ca e lacul la 5m de terasa, ptr ca dupa ce consumi aici, sa te poti arunca in el linistit, de buna voie, pentru a ti ,,spala" gustul amar. Cred ca se stramba si barcile de pe ponton daca vor mai creste mult preturile. N ar comenta nimeni de preturi daca ceea ce se ofera s ar ridica la acea valoare, dar in momentul de fata, a astepta sa ajunga calitatea bauturilor si cantitatea deserturilor (si nu numai a deserturilor probabil, dar scriu acum de ce am consumat, nu as putea vorbi in necunostinta de cauza), acolo unde este pretul, e ca si cand ai incerca sa iei avionul din gara.
Un alt aspect enervant este dat de comoditatea cu care s-a obisnuit HoReCa in pandemie, pandemia lui pește fiind acum un argument ptr tot ce nu s a facut bine sau care nu se poate realiza. Astfel, meniurile sunt servite doar digital, pe baza scanarii codului QR, dar care nu deschide meniul folosind datele mobile proprii, ci doar daca ne conectam la WIFI-ul de acolo (paradoxal sau nu, asa a fost). Eu cred ca cu suma actuala incasata de la un gin tonic, s ar fi putut acoperi costul hartiei si imprimarii meniurilor. Daca veneau pe tereasa 2 babe miliardare care nu stiau sa foloseasca meniul digital, dar aveau chef sa sparga 1000€, insa din motive de comoditate si obisnuinta cu meniurile traditionale, paraseau locatia?!
Nu zic ca nu au existat si aspecte bune (precum amabilitatea personalului, gustul desertului), dar prea putine ptr a mai putea veni cu drag.
Concluzia: Bani aruncati in vant, vorba lui Nelson :)).
Am revenit aici acum, dupa 2 ani, dar nota ramane tot cat nr de ani de pauza. Recenzia initiala tinea pana la ,,vorba lui Nelson", dar ulterior mi-a fost eliminata: din puseu de sinceritate probabil. Ma mir ca mai curge lapte din ugerul vacii cand constat ca e singurul restaurant unde se poate vinde espressoul mai scump decat cappucinoul, iar vina este tot a clientului, dupa cum voi expune mai jos. Uite ca se poate. Espresso normal apare in meniu la 11 lei, iar espresso cu lapte 13 lei ... sub egida ,,domolit cu un strop de lapte". NU. Singurul lucru ce a trebuit domolit, a fost tupeul celor ce ne-au servit si a celor care ne cred prosti. Cerem espresso cu lapte lângă, intrebati fiind unde vrem laptele. Cand vine nota, mai ca iti venea sa te uiti fara ochelari: espresso 11 lei, lapte 5 lei. Numa ca o uitat sa-mi aduca si cutia cu restul laptelui. Nu o spus afacerista ca ,,costa" laptele de langa, ca n-o lasa șăfu'. Ati mai cumparat o barca de 5 lei. Cica ,,v-am intrebat daca vreti laptele langa". Da ala de langa ii din c*r de grof? Sau de ce costa atata? Ca nici nu-l vedeai pe masa, bat-o Aristotel de logica. Preturi de Vest la salarii la Romania: na, echitate, dusu-te-ai cu alizeea. Daca-l varsam din greseala, se evapora pana ajungea pe sol, numa avea vreo sansa cu treapta care ducea la masa. Din pacate, marea afacere aici este vederea lacului. Dar el se poate vedea gratis din parc. Trebe sa platesti sa vezi lacul de-aproape doar daca esti client aici sau...
Read moreWe had a dinner with the company but there was no pre-defined particular menu or service, just what the restaurant had to offer, so this is reviewing the restaurant's typical selection of offers. The service was absolutely outstanding and the food was also delicious (one antre wasn't very convincing but the rest of them and the main course in particular were fantastic). The vibe of the restaurant was very nice, with good music, but towards the 10, 11 PM mark the music slowly became very loud to the point it was difficult to have a conversation at the table. Being Friday evening this may be justified as the establishment was probably preparing for an all-nighter for who would be interested in that but for those who would rather sit down and talk this isn't a good setup. But up until that point everything was very nice and impressive and this is not a reason to provide a lower rating. It's simply a matter of tastes as each individual has different preferences in terms on how to spend an evening out in town. So this is merely for people to know and plan...
