We had the 'crime and punishment' room with a sideways view towards the winter palace. Really nice room which was very new. Bed was comfy and there were two English TV channels. ||||The hotel is located right near the Winter Palace and within easy walking distance to the Chuch of the Spilled Blood, St Isaccs and the Metro. ||||I am giving four stars only as our AC didn't work one of the nights and the room was warm. My hotel in Moscow was also on the 4th floor but without a lift and it can get very tiresome having to go up and down 4 floors sometimes just to retrieve something...

The building I loved it, u can feel the uniqueness and the old classy russian vibe just few moments after u get in. All receptions were always ready to serve at anytime, they were really helpful. The breakfast was on-time, well prepared and tasty. What can I say more? I Would highly recommend them and definitely go back to...
