There are turkish workers living in this hostel. There were 4 of them when I visited but the receptionist said that there used be 14. I dont know about you but I don't find this very enjoyable or suitable for the spirit of the hostels. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone but giving the current indefinite residents of the hostel, I most definitely wouldn't recommend it for solo travellers because it becomes so hard to meet with new people. Also, some of the lockers was broken and my belongings was left in a small closet. There also was a smell in the rooms and corridor. The hostel door was left open the entire time. This actually was more beneficial for me because I could enter and leave anytime I want without much hassle but security-wise I'm not so sure about the troubles...
Read moreWhen we arrived in Belgrade our bags did not arrive with us. Air Serbia were not helpful at all. When we arrived at our hostel they told us they had double booked and had no place for us. So they sent us here..... thank god. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Gave us a lovely and super funky room decorated in Andy Warhol art, allowed us to stay longer, rang the airport for us, gave me ( a red head )sunscreen as this vital piece of luggage was in my bag. Read moreThe staff (and the dog!) was really friendly and helpful, the mattresses are quite comfy, rooms are big enough. Big thumbs up for the electrical sockets above the beds.I also liked the concept of this place, although the photos are a bit more promising than the reality. It's really diffucult to get up and down from the upper beds, I can imagine myself falling from the ladder.
