Room is spacy, clean and comfortable. Receptionist offered me a coffee on arrival at 6 PM and she served me coffee and drinking water in the room. Entrance to the hotel is on level 6 in the Sberbank Building and this is unusual but you find it if you simply ask the guide at the entrance to the elevators on the groundfloor - he is helpful to guide you friendly to the elevator and press all buttons that you arrive fine at the hotel. You find toiletries in the bathroom (shower lotion, shampoo, soap). I bought a tooth brush nearby at the market just on the other side of the big street crossing. Aircon creates temperature to sleep fine. It is noisy outside by the traffic but you cannot expect the silence of the forest in such a city environment. Panorama view is awesome. You see the synagogue and the old part of the city when you look out of the room windows. On the other side of the street you find fastfood restaurants where students like to socialize and you can meet them there for a small talk. It is simply incredibly how many beautiful young ladies I have seen in these days here at this place! But a good behaviour is very conventional here - so a normal woman does not want to get caught by an unknown guy somewhere in the street - I enjoyed to see them all and it put really always a smile in my face. If you go down the Jewish street on the left hand side you will find a good small kebab resto in traditional Serbian style where you can enjoy good food for low price in local environment indoor, my advice in case of rain or cold weather. For 2 euros I cannot even get a beer in a Belgian beer bar. But here in Novi Sad I paid 1,90 euros for a pizza calzone and a bottle of water at the a. m. place where the students like to eat. Aside you find Cafe Max where men read the newspaper and smoke a cigar. I spent some 30 euros and bought bluejeans and 2 shirts. I pay 150 euros for only bluejeans in Belgium. Shopping is also worthy at this place here. Breakfast in the hotel is quite good. It's a small hotel in a reasonable price category so don't expect a five star breakfast buffet. I enjoyed coffee, fruit juice, omelett, sandwichs. Do I really need more? I ate so much in the morning here that I was not hungry during lunch time and had my next meal in the evening. I walkes slowly 10 minutes to the old part of Novi Sad where I bought some souvenirs and enjoyed a tasty icecream. I took many photos here and I will attach some of them that you can see yourself the quality of the bathroom and hotel room, breakfast buffet and surroundings. After 3 days of staying here I can recommend this hotel for individual travelers and couples because I would definitely like to come back someday. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes a shy beautiful young student manages the reception and feels a little challenged to understand and speak in english language. But a smile in the face of a young lady puts a smile in my face. As I am not perfect as a human being I would never expect perfection of other people. Staff members do their best here to cover the needs of guests in this hotel. Everyday they changed the towels in the bathroom and removed the garbage. It is calm inside the hotel. I could even sleep during siesta hours. Wifi works perfect. TV offers Serbian channels and eurosports. You can watch a dvd or listen to cd music if you want. Reception can give you a wake-up call. So enjoy your stay here please as I am enjoying it. - If you fly to Belgrade and then you continue your travel to Novi Sad I can recommend you that I took the cheap bus from airport to Belgrade bus terminal (some 40 minutes) and then another bus to Novi Sad railway station and bus terminal (some 90 minutes) and then a taxi to the hotel, all in all I paid some 10...
Read moreThis hotel is located on one of the main intersections in the centre of Novi Sad. It's located on the 6th floor of a commercial building. The entrance is via a small passage way that runs through ground level beside the garage entrance.||||It's a family run operation, with about 10 rooms in total. I extended my stay and therefore had the opportunity to stay in 3 different rooms all of differing sizes, but none that was too small. ||||The hotel has a traditional Balkan dark wood interior. The rooms looks better than in the pictures and all were very clean. Each room I stayed in had a bathroom that was large, with an excellent shower. The furniture is not particularly new but was fine. ||||Rooms had a fridge and a tv with more than 200 channels. A/C was good but the wifi was a bit basic, clunky and slow. Fortunately there is plenty of free wifi around Novi Sad.||||Staff were friendly and were happy to deal with any questions. Even though the hotel is quite small it has 24 hour check in.||||Downsides: Breakfast was a let down, apart from the coffee which was good. The options available were pretty basic and unappealing. It was mid summer and the breakfast room was far too warm for my liking. You are right in the centre of Novi Sad so they are loads of breakfast options within 5 mins walk of the hotel.||||So overall, good value for money, but they need to work on their wifi and...
Read moreThe room was clean and it look better than in pictures. the view from windows was fantastic! Bathroom was big and shower was great. Hotel staff were friendly and altough they messed up with our names and other visitor(we almost paid more for the nights in hotels) staff were very nice anyway. If you don't know where the hotel is it's difficult to find because it's inside a big building, right next to bank. Biggest minus was that we got only a one key. The location was exellent and near of hotel were many cafes and restaurant as well as banks too. Because the hotel locates next of busy streets and if you are light sleeper the cars noises might distrup you. I recommend to stay...
