We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding, we stayed in a modern clean room with plenty of storage and WiFi was free, it had air conditioning and comfortable clean beds etc, we only saw the owner on arrival and departure, he showed us to our room and explained all, including the breakfast arrangements which was to be taken at a restaurant on the lake which was 10 min walk down the hill, we had a voucher to present on arrival.|We used the breakfast once and it was fine, but as it was pouring with rain the other mornings it was not convenient to walk down the road so we had a taxi to the busier part of town.|The apartment was in a good position for a weekend visit to this beautiful place, with a small convenience store at the bottom of the road and a couple of restaurants nearby, and a boat stop to go across to the island, there is also a Noddy Train that goes all the way round the lake that stops at bottom of road.|a couple of niggles were|We stayed 3 nights and the towels were not changed at all and no one came into the room (nearly ran out of toilet roll etc)|It would have been lovely to have tea and coffee making facilities in room rather than down the road.|It was great to have a hairdryer in the room and an Iron and board were available to borrow |Overall...
Read moreI stayed here for 3 nights in October in a standard double. Room was a nice size, it was clean and modern with a balcony. Towels were provided, but there was a few things that was lacking. There wasn't any complimentary shampoo, shower gel, toiletries, but there was some hand gel soap on the sink so had to use that. No safe in room and they did not have a spare adaptor so I had to buy one. However, everything else was in good working order and the shower had hot water and was powerful too. I didn't get an actual apartment with kitchen, studio etc, so it felt like a hotel room than an apartment but that was not a problem as all I wanted was somewhere to sleep and relax after a day of exploring. No breakfast but that was ok as I just ate outside instead. There was a supermarket down the road which was handy. Since breakfast was not included, the supermarket sold plenty of pastries and croissants for the morning. Overall, good, clean accommodation really close to the lake. Bled town and bled castle was a bit further along, maybe 20-30 minutes walking distance. Bled is quite small as I was able to walk round the whole of bled lake twice in 2 days, just to give you an idea of the size of this place. If I was to stay here again, I would consider...
Read moreI visited here with my partner in August and it was absolutely gorgeous. The accommodation is newly built and is absolutely immaculate with beautiful marble style flooring throughout the stairs and hallways. The outside has an Austrian chalet sort of vibe. ||We had an apartment which was definitely worth the little extra charge as we had access to a balcony area with a view of the mountains and loads of room. Beds were comfy, air conditioning very effective. The property is a 5 minute walk down hill to the lakeside and there is a bus stop at the end of the road and to the left from which buses to Lake Bohinj pass by (don’t make the mistake we did and walk the 20-30 minutes to the main bus station for this!). And for the record, DEFINITELY make the trip to Lake Bohinj, it’s stunning. Both lakes, Bled and Bohinj, are incredible and have different vibes about them. ||Another little bonus is that there is a small supermarket at the end of the road which is helpful to get essentials. As we had an apartment, we bought our own breakfast to save a bit of cash and had this outside on the balcony which was perfect.||We found the owner to be very friendly and thought the overall experience was very good...
