After reading the reviews re queues I decided I scope it out at 1pm on a Monday afternoon (in August). At least 2 hour queue, as people state - lots of chairlifts go up empty but I assume this is of course for a safety reason/weight restriction so that can’t be helped but it’s frustrating if you’re in the queue watching the empty lifts go up im sure! Decided to come back for opening Tuesday morning. I arrived at 9.30am (opens at 10) and I was the first person here. Shortly after me people started to arrive and by 9.45 there was a fully fledged queue of around 20/30 people. By 10am of course this has increased to closer to 50 people! I was first in the queue to buy tickets, first on the chairlift. Lovely ride up, beautiful sunny day. Walked to the lovely viewpoint at the top (took 5 mins if that) and then got straight on a toboggan. No queue at the top. There were some people already at the top who had hiked up by the looks of it, and you can it seems buy a ticket for the toboggan at the top so this is an option if you don’t want to queue! Couldn’t fault it, great experience - would I have wanted to stand in the sun for 2+ hours and queue? Absolutely not! Plan accordingly and you’ll have a great time!! (P.s. if you are queueing and it’s hot and sunny, there really isn’t much shade so pack your water, hats...

Getting to Straža Bled was a bit tricky as we drove through narrow streets of residential areas and it felt like we were getting lost. Parking area near the entrance was convenient, however it was full at the time of our arrival. Restrooms available at both ends of the cableway.
If you are here only to enjoy the adventure trails and zip lines you have two options to get to the top of the hill - walk or take the cableway - you cannot drive up there as the road is in bad condition and there is no parking at the top of the hill. We also walked the small trail located at the top, which provided nice views of Lake Bled and Bled Castle.
We purchased a combined ticket of the cableway and toboggan ride for 10 EUR - there is a possibility of separate tickets for either cableway (if you only want to go up to the adventure park) or toboggan rides. We were informed that the waiting time for the toboggan was 40 minutes, which was a bit annoying but manageable. The toboggan slide was a lot of fun as you can go full speed without breaking!
Unfortunately the tubing and bag jump was not opened when we visited.
If you have enough time this place deserves a visit! I could spend 3-4 hours here easily! Visited...
Read moreCame on a Wednesday in glorious weather and found that it was closed for a “technical fault” with no warning on their website (which has a livestream for exactly this reason that doesn’t seem to work). Came back on the Friday and queued in a fairly short queue for the chairlift up, for an hour and 10 minutes because they let 4 of every 5 chairs up without people in them. Got to the very front of the queue and then a smattering of rain that lasted less than a minute made them halt all people going up for another half an hour while they debated whether it even would go on to rain, while still letting people go down. In the time they held us in indecision, us and 5 other pairs could easily have gone before the actual rain eventually started. No refunds in rain and for people on shorter stays here it means they all just wasted €20 a head. Not 1 star because they may yet honour our tickets if they ever do decide to open it. Will update if we go back later today or tomorrow for a third attempt, but in general avoid this if there’s even a single grey cloud...
