Guesthouse Kolinska — Hotel in Bled

I wish I could give a 0 star !!! Receptionist is Extremely disrespectful, rude and upon our arrival there was nobody at the property and they don't respond the calls so we had to wait for 45 minutes and after that he stated that he will charge extra 20 € for the second guest and when we said we booked through online and it was a set price but we said it is ok we will pay 20 extra and while we were filling out our information he took the papers away and said "you know what I don't want you guys in my hotel( it's not even a hotel, it looks like an apartment building made of 2 floors) so we said I accept the 20 extra what's the problem and I said what's going on here we just finished a 12 hours car drive to come here to see the lake bled. All together I don't recommend anybody to go to this place. It is not a hotel and it is run by a rude disrespectful man who doesn't even know anything about hospitality. when we booked it the price was set but then he wanted extra 20 and we asked why it is different because in every other hotel we stayed was only 1 price and you pay for the room not for the person, when we said it is ok we can put that extra 20 he just grabbed the info paper back and said no don’t worry I don’t want and we told him it is ok we can pay extra . I just can’t believe people like him are running business . After we left this place we didn’t even go to see anything else in the town and we straight drove to Croatia and now we are enjoying...

We were 3 senior couples ( 4 of us in 70s ) who stayed at Kolinska a few months ago for 3 days. A very good GH with all amenities. Clean and comfortable. |The room was a bit tight and as we were travelling for 21 days we did have a big suitcase each . But there was a bench and a table to put our bags . Enough cupboard space to stack our clothes.|The breakfast was filling and there was enough for everyone... cornflakes, fruits, yogurt, cheese ,ham, sausage, scrambled eggs and wheat bread. And juices. |Natasha, the wife of the host, kind and charming, served us at breakfast . |We met her daughter Anna who is a very talented artist and her paintings are displayed on the walls. |The only little hitch .. was that all our rooms were on the 2 nd floor. We were prepared for that as we knew that they didn't have a lift. What would have helped after a long and tiring journey is a little help to take the luggage up the stairs! What with 2 of the men having had heart bypass surgeries. Anyway we are glad there were no casualties ! We stayed in many other places that had only stairs but there was always help. |But looking at the bright side, being higher up in room s 20, 24 and 25... we had lovely views of the sunset and the castle on one side and mountains on the other with sunrise !|The Guesthouse is not near the lake but it is only a 20 minute walk away.|If you need any essentials a big Mercator is just...

Guesthouse Kolinska offers good accommodation in Bled but please note that the guesthouse is in a residential neighbourhood about 1 km from Lake Bled itself. You can easily walk it but the way back is uphill most of the time (you might want to take that into consideration). ||The things I disliked most about this place is that reception is closed from 7pm to 7am. You must keep the key on you at all times because when you return in the evening the door would be closed and you have to make your way through a side-door in the basement. Also, breakfast is served somewhat late. They start at 8am so if you had planned to make some early morning trips that's not going to help you much.||||I also disliked the fact that the TV in our room had hard-porn channels running all day long. There is no adult section warning. They are mingled with normal channels and you come across them unexpectedly. Guests with young children should be careful.||||Frankly, if I ever travel to Bled I would look for a hotel (with 24h reception) closer to the...
