We had a room (not an apartment) for a week, the room was good enough but really small for two persons to move around. There was a fridge in the room, a bathroom (with a very annoying window, I'm sure people could see us shower from the outside! ) and a common "kitchen" down the stairs. The kitchen wasn't well equiped, just a water boiler, a hot plate and a grill plate/toaster. We were proposed a breakfast for 3,5e, but were really disapointed. It only consisted of first price cereals, "nutella", jam and white toast bread. The room was cool, even in the hot summer days. ||||The owner wasn't really helpful and was really cold, she never stayed more than two minutes with us. Even when we had a lot of questions to ask or wanted to give her the payment she always found the way to leave before being able to ask. The reason may have been that she did not dare to speak english with us. The husband was, on the other hand, really friendly. ||||In clear, I think this place must be great if you stay in one of the apartments and not in...
Read moreWe had a great time in Bled and enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, the view was great and the apartment was spacious and clean. Good self-catering facilities and the owner's are friendly and welcoming. Free parking at front if you're driving like us.
I would say it's higher in star rating than what they class it under but that's a good thing. The bedroom was spacious and he bed was a combined twin bed so plenty of room if your a bed hogger, hehe.
We would definitely stay again. We would ask to change the poor quality pink sponge bath mat with a larger waterproof one and provide more details about using the washing machine and dryer facilities, eg. Any charges or is it free to use etc.
The large window in our room does not open even though it has handle to open. The handle is broken. We would advice either fix the handle so the window opens like the door or remove handle so the window is...
Read moreThe location was 5-10 minutes from the lake, and it was also 5-10 minutes from a travel center, a bank and post office, and several restaurants, which was great. On the down side, the room came with no breakfast (which is not a problem! But the name "Bed and Breakfast" is deceiving) and a better orientation from the host when I had arrived would have been helpful (I was just given the keys). However, I did come quite a bit earlier than asked (12:30pm instead of 2pm), so Tina´s flexibility was greatly appreciated and she was willing and able to help any time I came to her (to borrow an umbrella, get a taxi, etc), which I was grateful for. There is a water cooker in the room----bring your own tea bags. Free Wifi with great connection. Overall a nice stay. Thank...
