Restaurant Petelin — Restaurant in Bled

I don’t like such situations, I don’t like to write bad reviews, but unfortunately my family and I had a spoiled dinner. We ordered several dishes, three of which were with octopus, when the plates arrived, we immediately noticed a strange smell, but at first we thought that it was not from the food. Immediately three people at the table smelled the octopus and realized that it smelled rotten, we called the waiter, he called the main one, he smelled the octopus but did not find the smell strange. We did not argue and continued to eat the side dishes of these dishes. After some time, the head of the restaurant came up to us again and offered to order something else, we were already half full of side dishes, and we had a desire to come once to have a delicious dinner and go to bed, and not do it again. Then the main one came up to us again and offered to order something else and said he would give a 10% discount on the receipt (Which means that it didn’t seem to us that the octopus was spoiled...). But this is of course nothing, because 3 dishes and the whole evening were spoiled. I have one question: if they brought us three dishes and we immediately felt an unpleasant smell, didn’t the cook smell it? The restaurant was empty and apparently they needed to clear out some...

AVOID THIS PLACE! 🚫

We chose it because there weren’t many people and we were short on time, but it turned into the worst dining experience we've had in Europe. We waited over an hour for food while other tables, who ordered at the same time, had already eaten, paid, and left. It felt like they completely forgot about us until we went to ask.

When the food finally arrived, we asked for the bill because we were in a hurry. Instead of understanding, the waiter got rude, and told us not to rush him, raised his voice, and even started shouting at us in front of everyone. In the end, nobody brought us the bill — we had to go inside and find someone to pay.

The food wasn’t worth it either. Schnitzel was overcooked and extremely dry. ❗️

This was, hands down, the worst service we’ve ever experienced anywhere in Europe. Disrespectful staff, terrible attitude, and food not worth...

My wife, son and I went here for dinner. My wife and I both had the gourmet sword (which was large chunks of different meats and vegetables grilled) while our son had chicken quesadilla. All of our meals were excellent! My son and I also shared a chocolate bomb for desert which was also amazing! Carlo, our waiter, was attentive and spoke excellent English. We would highly recommend eating here if you are visiting Bled. The menu has a huge selection and our only criticism would be that the restaurant lacks...
