The owner is an absolute delight - Such a warm welcoming lady - You can tell straight away, as soon as she opens the door, she loves having guests so much and it felt so good... Especially during these times when we all miss hostels and guests so much.

Always up for a chat and keen to assist us with the best info about sightseeing and local things to do - She's so good at giving advice, I bet, you'll end up doing everything she says. And please do, it is SO worth it !

A real role-model as a perfect receptionist - She's such a hard-working woman who always makes sure everything is perfect for guests. I'd genuinely recommend this hostel for so many reasons and mostly because you'll have the chance to meet her.

Great location, SAFE place with STRICT covid-rules - Everything is SO well-organised with a strong attention to details and cleanliness. Enough showers and bathrooms, which can also be privatised. The kitchen is also well-equipped, it was a pleasure to cook and have dinner there, such a hoomie atmosphere.

Thank you for being so lovely - I had the best stay at your hostel, my bed was incredibly comfy. Staying here made us very HAPPY, we were surrounded by love and good positive vibes - So sad I had to leave earlier but thank you again for everything.

PS : I wish I could give you more than 5 stars and more than a 10 on Hostelworld, I wish I could tell the world you're a wee star and you deserve more stars than my computer can write.

Owner made me feel very unwelcome.

The accommodation itself is clean and thankfully I met really nice people in my hostel room. I am giving a low rating because the owner Alex made me feel so unwelcome when I arrived.

I had booked to stay at this hostel for 3 nights and unfortunately was not able to make it on the first evening due to flight delays. I called the owner to let her know that I would be arriving early the next morning which she said was fine. When I arrived I asked if I could check into my room as I had it booked for the previous evening and the next two nights. The owner told me she had given the room to someone and when I queried this she stated "that's your problem, not mine".

This all took place at 8.30am and I was told I couldn't check into the room now but could check back in at 2pm. I was directed to put my luggage downstairs and advised that I could sit in the lounge if I wanted to before heading out for the day. After 5 minutes, Alex came to tell me that the person she had checked into my room had now "checked out" and I could check in. When I went to the room, clearly no one had stayed in the room that night as there were two empty beds in the room. I feel this whole situation was fabricated for reasons I am not sure of.

When travelling solo and experiencing travel delays, there is nothing better than arriving at a hostel and being made to feel welcome. I had the exact opposite experince here and for that reason would not...

Good place for a few nights at an affordable price. There are bathrooms on the hallway, you might have to wait a bit during popular shower hours but they are probably the cleanest hostel bathrooms I've ever seen, and the shower was nice and warm which was appreciated. Bed was comfortable and the room nice enough, outlets and lights provided at each bed. However, the room was quite warm, and the provided fan made it noisy - also, the blinds didn't really shut out the street lamps so bring a sleeping mask if you're sensitive. Padlock to the lockers are provided. Free maps and good advice about local sights from the reception. Only cash payment possible, so come prepared. Location is quite nice, in a more residential place, ca. 30 mins walk from bus/train station, ca. 5 mins to nearest supermarket, ca. 10 mins to town center. Kitchen has everything that you need for breakfast and simple cooking (pasta and sauce, or similar): fridge, microwave, kettle, sandwich maker, utensils. Oven was not usable. The only downside is that the kitchen is not very comfortable to sit for some time, and there's not really any common room to hang...
