Chocolate wasn’t good. I hate to leave a negative review, but the quality was subpar while being rather expensive.

We bought a bunch of the chocolate covered dried fruits. They looked good at the time but after purchasing we tried them and they were not very appetizing, ended up throwing much of them out. The chocolate quality wasn’t very good (tastes sort of like plastic, didnt mesh well with the dried fruit which didn’t taste very good either).

I also purchased a chocolate dragon and ladybuy for my niece/nephew. The ladybug was pretty so I thought it would be a nice gift for a little girl. After purchasing, I noticed the appearance rapidly deteriorate; the chocolate became white and bleached in color. The chocolates were not stored in any extreme condition. I think it is just a formulation that hasn’t been optimized properly. What a bummer. This didn’t happen to the dragon though so maybe it’s...

My personal experience has been nothing short of amazing and I have been there several times. Let me tell you my story:

An impression is immediately made as you enter the store; the staff is charming, professional, helpful and with a good sense of humour, even the owner is often there.

Next, as you gaze apon the candy in a childlike fashion your artistic sense is touched by the beautiful packaging and the story of the Slovene heart behind it (you should definitely ask the staff about it, I will not spoil it for you).

And finally... the chocolate... Its taste is like a beautiful libretto is sung to your hearts content as you find yourself being a child once more.

Loved this shop. The roasted almonds were spectacular. Was pleased to be able to meet the owner. She really goes all out to get feedback on her shop and chocolates. This shows in her variety of flavours. She really does listen to customer feedback. Modern and hygienic, yet able to retain traditional chocolate tastes. I highly recommend visiting this shop. Do spend a bit more on the individual handmade chocolates - you won't be disappointed. I wish that I'd bought more dragon praline balls. We've already finished them and haven't even made it home to share with...
