This place was recommended by my Slovenian host. It’s away from the old town’s busy touristic area. This is a family business. A man and his wife cook everything.

I had zucchini carpaccio. As simple as this dish was, as tasteful and enjoyable it was indeed!

Now, they recommended to try their veal ribs with potatoes. This dish was extraordinary! I have never tasted in my entire life something like that! The meat was so tender and full of flavor. It melted in my mouth. They even let me eat my dish in the actual cooking pan! This made the experience very authentic too!

The restaurant is very quiet and calm. The owners were such a delight to encounter and had a nice chat with them.

Even the prices are reasonable for the generous portions and outstanding taste!

Location is very nice, few minutes walk from Preseren square next to Ljubljanica. Ambient is really nice, the service super friendly. The waiter gave good recommodations based on our food preferences. And wide offers of slovenian food/products.
