Apartments Old Town — Hotel in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

We stay in a lot of hotels and apartments all over the world and this was, without a doubt, the cleanest, most well equipped apartment we have stayed, ever. Polana (Polly) was a superb host and always on hand for questions/assistance. The apartment is thoughtfully decorated and the linens on the beds were top notch and spotlessly clean and comfortable. We stayed almost 3 weeks and Polly came to change the linens and clean once a week which was a huge bonus and there were always plenty of clean towels. The kitchen was exceptionally useable - and we used it for breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day - good quality pans, pots, enough knives and forks, good glassware with a choice for your wines. And a dishwasher - not to rave (much) - but what a luxury to be able to use our little dishwasher. Loads of hot water and excellent pressure and central heating/radiators. There is also an air conditioner. We didn’t get a chance to visit, but there is also a local shop just over the road that has wine taps - to fill up bottles with local wine. Ask Polly to point it out. Polly also arranged a taxi for our eventual departure to the airport. Location wise it is perfect - a lovely stroll along the river and through the old town and also there is a superb bakery about 5 minutes stroll away - over the pedestrian bridge and to the right - Dunajska Pekarna. The bakery is also open on Sundays and has great burek amongst other things (if you’re self catering it’s something to be aware of as supermarkets are shut...

Extremely comfortable and clean apartments, located in the heart of Ljubljana with quick access to all the sights, restaurants, pubs and shops. The owner is super friendly and helpful with everything that guest needs. Highly recommended...
