What did I enjoy? 1) Equipped studio 2) very hospital and helpful owner with good English 3) location - very close to everything . Download Naver Map to orient. Google maps do not work, while Naver shows even night buses. 4) accessible terrace with amazing view. 5) heating floors. 6) you can open the windows and enjoy the stream view, if you are lucky to have the respective room!!||What did I not enjoy? (all personal) 1) the mattress was hard. as I've read it is common in Korea, but if you fancy drowning in the soft welcoming mattress, this is not an option 2) I don't know how it works in the winter, but the only heating stuff are floors, which work when you are in only, and a superpowerful red-light heating device on top of the mirror. In the middle of November, it was already chill. An owner has kindly provided with an extra blanket, though 3) the bathroom is not really convenient. After you take a shower, everything is wet, so if you come back, you need to either throw towels on the floor or put on bathroom flipflops 4) towels are good and soft but it was no big towel to be wrapped in after the shower. Only small 'hand' size. Bring you own big towel then) 5) the room was desribed as 22 sqm, but it was smaller. Still enough space for luggage and walking around without bamping into other things. ||In Common, I would totally recommend this location and this owner! It was very convenient, pleasant and joyful!!! When I am back in Seoul, i will try to stay there...
Read moreI stayed here twice already, and it was not a coincidence I went back for the second time. Location is perfect in central Seoul, 3 minutes walk to metro station, and it's right along the Cheonggyecheon stream which makes you rather walk home in the evenings :)||Gwangjang market is just around the corner, which is also a plus, if you like the streetfood of Korea. ||The host, Jaehoon is very friendly and helpful. It's important to send him information about your arrival, as he works there mostly alone, and not staying on site all the day. ||However there is no elevator, you can "climb" up to the rooftop - where there is a kitchen, washing machine, and place for smoking - and enjoy the nice view of both Dongdaemun area, Namsan and the city center. ||I stayed alone, and tried both the small and the standard single rooms. While the small type was literally very small - even not enough space to keep my suitcase open - the standard room is very convenient and also equiped with a small kitchenette and washing machine - allowing you to stay longer. ||Maybe next time I check out the double room with my girlfriend, but for solo stay it's definitely a...
Read moreThis apartment is located right next to the Gwangjang Market where you can buy Korean street food for a very cheap price. It's also very close to the train station and bus stop. You can easily travel to Dongdaemun as well as other areas. It was very quiet at night so I was able to sleep well. ||The room was very spacious and had great water pressure (yes, great showers!) It comes with a desk, fridge, kitchen, and AWESOME front load washing machine (not like the crap top load washing machines you see in other hotels). You can watch all sorts of Korean TV shows for free.||Before making the reservation, I had a number of questions to ask and Mr Lee (the owner of this apartment premises) responded very quickly. When I arrived at the place, he carefully explained how to get in & out of the building, how to request for amenities, etc. I ordered a number of things online as well which he was happy to receive on my behalf. The building doesn't have an elevator but it didn't impact me at all because Mr Lee carried my suitcases upstairs & downstairs. He was very kind and helpful.||To conclude, I would 100%...
