JD Tower Hotel — Hotel in Seoul

I stayed at JD Tower Hotel for 10 days and it had been one of the best experiences I’ve had at a hotel. The owners of JD tower have been tremendously helpful for us and are very welcoming of foreigners.

Location : 5⭐️/5⭐️

The location is convenient as everything is a walkable distance. All the main tourist spots have been a pleasant walk, but the transit is close as well. Wherever you need to go, there’s a bus or subway nearby for you to travel on. Right across the streets are convenient stores for any late night snacks or anything in general that’s needed.

Service: 5⭐️/5⭐️

The hosts have been extremely helpful, we would go down for a request and they would be more than happy to help. They give great recommendations on where to go, best time to travel, and provide you useful advice on your stay in Korea. Room cleaning is every day and every time we come back into the room it’s always spotless. Fantastic experience from the hosts and staff!

Amenities: 5⭐️/5⭐️

Everything you need is already provided and could be requested for. T.V set in a good location, heated stove, kettle, towels, hair dryer, wi-fi. They have all that is needed. One special thing I’d like to note that has been so comfortable are the heated floors, absolutely the best when you get up in the morning. The laundry also has built in detergent, very convenient! Theres a gym, a cafe and a shop, all within the hotel.

The room is a good size, it’s worth what you pay, it’s spacious enough for your travelling and relaxation. The view is stunning, I was able to see over Korea and the beautiful mountains! Nothing much to say here as it’s great, you get your moneys worth.

We stayed at 2 different hotels while traveling in Seoul and this was our favourite by far! We got a corner room and it had beautiful large windows that gave a lot of natural light. Room was spacious and we were able to open 1 large, 1 medium, and 2 small suitcases at the same time, plus the window ledges were wide so we could use those practically as well. The bathroom shower door as some noted, could be sealed better as there was water leakage during the shower but otherwise no complaints for the bathroom. I loved that it came with an in-room sink and good sized cabinet to hang jackets. Only wish that there were more electrical outlets - they were only located on 1 of the two bed headboards so we had to share the closer one as the other one didn't work. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, will store luggage for you on checkout day, and can lend a handheld scale for weighing luggage. Would definitely...

JD Tower Hotel was great for my 10-day trip to Seoul. Location is super convenient as there are many bus stops nearby and 2 metro stations 4-5 mins away. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed! We had a gorgeous view of Namsan, frequented the Paik's Coffee on the 1st floor of the hotel everyday (delicious & affordable cafe), and received lots of Seoul recommendations from the hotel staff - they were accommodating, welcoming, and super foreigner friendly! We felt very taken care of while staying here.

I liked the kitchenette in the room as we brought back convenience store snacks/drinks and stored them in the fridge.
