Brushetta: The tomato topping was tasty, but unfortunately, the bread wasn't toasted enough, and it meant it was very soggy.
Canarian Cheese starter: exact like halloumi but less salty. The dips it came with were very tasty.
Salmon Vodka Pasta: A really good dish & and can't complain about this.
Gonnichi: Unfortunately, it was very bland. We asked about adding chicken, which we did, and they only charged €3 for this, which i thought was reasonable but was very overcooked.
Service
Unfortunately, this is where we felt massively let down. Absolutely shocking!!!
The card machines went faulty and weren't accepting contactless. This seemed to go down between us walking in and going to pay. We tried also entering both our card details into the machine to make payment.
My partner then offered to walk 30 minutes to go get some cash & his bank card while I remained behind as we did want to pay our bill. It would have been nice to have been offered at least a glass of water while I waited. But nothing was.
When he returned, it took 3 attempts to get the card machine to take payment. We asked since we'd put so much effort into making payment for them, would they show some common decentcy and maybes knock a drink off the bill as a show of good will but was told this was impossible.
Having both of us worked in the hospitality industry, we know this is always possible, as shown by the mangers next comment after he got full payment. 'Could he get us a drink for the inconvenience?'. Felt as a customer all you wanted was the money & that we didn't want to spend another second in the restaurant and very displeased when we left.
You kept telling us it was out of your control and nothing to do with the restaurant and not your fault. My question is why don't you have a back up card machine to avoid...
Read moreWhat a wonderful place! On arrival, we hadn't booked, the young lady was extremely helpful in finding us a table. We were soon seated reading through menus while our drinks arrived. Pizza for my wife and myself while our son chose a pasta dish. The pasta came out first, It looked tasty, and I wondered if the pizza would be as good! The pizzas soon followed, and I was pleasantly surprised. Authentic neopolitan style, great fresh toppings with a lovely corona. They were amazing! I thought i couldn't manage dessert, but after seeing the menu, I couldn't resist the tirimisu. My wife had the creme brule, both were outstanding. Our son had a share of each! He was lucky to get any! We asked for the bill and were treated to a shot of homemade limonchello. It's absolutely fabulous. The staff were amazing, not intrusive, yet helpful, and there, if ever needed. The price was another pleasant surprise. Great value for money. If you're looking out for authentic Italian food rather than the 'big chain' places that dominate Costa Adeje, then Fiamma is the place to...
Read moreWe arrived late one Saturday evening, tired, and Fiamma was open and nearby. On arrival our lovely waitress said "you have come to be best Italian restaurant in Tenerife!" Well, she's correct. Along with the delightful young woman who also serves, everything here is outstanding. We ate here many time, not because of lack of choice, mind; but because each time was a joy. Wonderful handmade cocktails. The star is of course, the food. Not a huge menu, to be fair; but it is all REAL italian food made by an enthusiastic kitchen staff who know what they are doing. Sadly, last night was out last night after 5 weeks and we decided to 'book end' our stay the way it had started: With another fine evening. Try the Cannoli! Try the pasta! Try the pizza! Try the Lasagne! You will not be disappointed. The staff take excellent care of you, and do not mind too much if you cannot speak Spanish! Lol. But try to, its a courtesy. Anyway, we plan to return in '26 and we are sure our first stop on late arrival will be... Fiamma! Thank you, to all of the...
