AVOIDING TIP: To avoid the sale guys simply don't make eye contact and say cold phrased or just a very cold NO. It helped me during the holyday.

BUYING TIP: If you want to buy something from them be careful for the prices and always barging till the end. The items that I bought was: Big beach towel for 10 Euro ( i started the barging price from 5 euro and I was highly uninterested) Sunglasses, here I got them for 6 euro (everything i got at the moment in me). I'm pretty sure that you can get them cheaper, around the coast you can find sunglasses the same quality for 4 Euro so dont buy sunglasses for more...

Popular beach on the Las Americas strip. You need to know the high tide times as some people get caught by the odd big surge. Even with the rocks piled round to break the waves of, some big waves still come through. I've always felt safe here as the beach has a shallow slope. Beware of being on the rocks when the waves are getting bigger. We've seen a few people knocked over. There's lifeguards patrolling the beach and warn people of any dangers. Some of the beaches on the island have a lot of rocks when entering in the water however we didn't have this issue here.

There are many of local small shops however I would recommend going to the small supermarket chains before hand for drinks, snacks ect if you want to save a little money.

Be cautious also, the beach sand in the day can get extremely hot. If you are close to the sea you may need footwear of you want to leave without...
