Warning ⚠️ The Jardin de la Abuela is a ‘Reheat and serve restaurant’
Atención ⚠️ El Jardín de la Abuela es un restaurante ‘De Quinta Gama’
We observed how the food had been prepared before hand, they store it in lunch boxes and later just reheat and serve it when you order it. The result was tasteless octopus, and prawns, the tapas size is small. The prawns were even cold.
The ‘paella tapa’ is not really Spanish paella as it was also reheated and tasteless. You can get better paella even in a ‘menu del día’ in most Spanish restaurants for less than 15€
The price seems cheap but it’s not worth it for what you get. The tapas are AMAZING!!! The quality of those plates is impeccable, the best croquettes ever, even if it is a simple dish they make us sooooo special! And they have fancy plates too 😉
Every day there are new fresh suggestions served with attention to the little detail! So cute and nice 🥰

This is the place to go when you want to spoil yourself, have some drinks, and taste perfectly cooked and served plates in a relaxed and original young location💗

The restaurant was quite nice and rustic but my partner and I were a bit concerned about the wooden seats as we felt they were on the verge of collapse! The tapas wasn't bad just not great, the Canarian Potatoes were probably the least tasty; dry with no seasoning, the cheese with honey marginally better, the prawns were nice but I've had far tastier elsewhere in Costa Adeje. The service was good but I did have to ask for the bill twice before it arrived. Obviously, I can only comment on the tapas I had compared to elsewhere and I was slightly...
