With just a 3 min walk from Basilica La Sagrada Familia you'll find this gem 💎 of a restaurant. Friendly staff and great food. If I could I'd give them 10/10 for the food. Sooo tasty and well prepared it's unbelievable. Add to that more than affordable price and you have a place you want to visit again. I am just sorry we found it on our last day in Barcelona. It's full of locals and friendly people who know what a good food is. We had Russian salad, Cod salad, Cuttlefish with chimichurri , Chipirones, Plata with chicken breasts, egg, fries and croquettes, Pasta Bolognese, Pizza Margherita, Pudding of the house, Mango Cheesecake, 2 Coca Cola and 4 glasses of great wine and all of that was under 20€ per person. The service was reluctant and curt, probably owing to the late hour; in fact they closed the kitchen right after our food came out. We probably should have walked out right then. The place smelled strongly of cleaning fluid. The sautéed mushrooms were delicious. Steak a little salty but ok. A very sad, dry side salad came with the steak combo. The egg was a little overcooked. But then someone (an employee or relative) came in with two dogs, one of which went into the kitchen, which seems unhygienic. It was terrible. It took 20 - 25 minutes before they were actually taking your order. Then it took more than an hour for a pizza while everyone at the table was almost finished eating their food or finished. The pizza had way to much cheese on it and was disgusting. The service was terrible. It felt like all these people were literally screaming something in Spanish towards you. NOT friendly at ALL. I would not...
