OMA Cadiz Apartments — Hotel in Cádiz

Go here for the location. Don't drive to the apartment. Park at the public parking lot and walk in. Great place to walk to all the sights from here.

You get is a clothes washer... no drying rack..

The kitchenette is ok....has one wine glass... ( I thought it was romantic... my travel partner..not so much..lol).

We were on the ground floor and there is a smell... Water problems.... hopefully the upper floors aren't like that. I started the dehumidifier as soon as we got there...it didn't keep up.

Wifi was spotty at best. Didn't work most of the time. I rebooted the residential wireless repeaters as they are plug in models.... that worked for an hour or so, but it's not reliable and I couldn't get cell service in the room.

It's clean and updated. Ask for the codes to get in early.... we ended up waiting at the door to get them.... as did another family.

Use the roof for a drink and the BBQ! You can buy charcoal at 2 of the local grocery stores. ...

The location is great and the apartment is clean. However it appears that everyone has the same key code for both the front door and the apartments. Also, there is a lovely washing machine but I had to buy my own washing tablets (and leave them there), I also had to buy toilet paper as very little allocated. The lights in the lounge didn't work, neither did the air con. The sliding glass door between the bedroom and shower/WC was jammed open - not ideal! The last three points were reported on our arrival for a 4 night stay but were not addressed by the time we left. The stairs down to the bedroom are so incredibly steep that it was quite a thought to descend them. The roof terrace is nice but could do with some shade options. I would love to stay there again because of the location and cleanliness and will probably give it a...

Stay aware from these apartments as they are not safe. Access to the building is via key code and we were given the same code for the building and the apartment which is described as a private apartment. Unfortunately it appears that all apartments have the same code because on our second day people arriving to stay in the next door apartment accidentally tried our door first and the code they were given opened our door as well as their door. We were sleeping at the time so it was quite a shock to find someone entering a supposedly secure and private apartment. We tried to contact OMA Cadiz but they have failed to answer messages, watts app or telephone calls. Once we knew the apartment was not secure we left and booked alternative accomodation but have not received a refund from OMA
