The Cueva del Pájaro Azul is a fascinating place, I’d definitely recommend visiting this hidden gem! The staff were friendly and easily able to provide an English tour for me. A lot of attention and detail has been given to the excavation and research of the port, with information on how it developed through history and its discovery. You can really picture how the place has changed over time! My guide was very friendly and informative, and gave me some great recommendations for my visit to the city. I really enjoyed discovering the underground...

Through circumstances beyond our control we missed the English-language tour we had booked at 1030. When we arrived at 1115 the lady on the ticket office said that we could join the Spanish-language tour at 1130, and she would explain the site to us in English before the tour started, then let us go off on our own while she conducted the Spanish-language tour.
