Tandem Puerto Chico — Hotel in Cádiz

It's more like an Airbnb type of place instead of a hotel. Do not recommend to people who are planning to check in late or last minute booking since they don't have a 24 hour front desk. They require online deposit and online check in 1 or more days before arrival and it was a bit confusing. If you have time to deal with it, great otherwise it could be kind of stressful. Location is good, basically self service. The room was clean but there was a moldy wet smell since our 2 rooms were located on ground level and there's no windows except the one facing the front desk/ public area. We stayed 2 nights at Tandem Puerto Chico (end of July 2023) and had to move rooms twice! The first room smelled of damp with no natural light - felt like a dungeon. First, we were told that there is no other room available. Our request to get our money back was denied. Instead, we were offered an alternative room that was also on the ground floor - with glass windows facing the reception. So no privacy and no natural light when you keep the curtains closed. Also, you can hear every word that is spoken at reception. The last room was on the 1st floor - right next to a construction site and therefore incredibly noisy. Would not stay...
