Hostal Abadia Madrid — Hotel in Madrid

It is a good hostal, good location, center of Madrid, I've booked a room with my friend with breakfast, breakfast at a small resturant adhered with the building of the hostal, that means it is not the same building, there was a place for watching TV with others _ shared area_ that in addition to TV in room, and shared ketchen, room was small, but it will be suitable for whos are in Madrid for buisness, shopping and touresm. It was very clean, helpful staff. Elevator was old and small but it is working, if you have many bags, you may use elevator more than one time. Rooms at 3rd, 4th, 5th and may 6th floor. Breakfast was good. Don't ask for taxi from hostal because it will be very expensive if compared with stopping one from street. No shampoo in bathroom, hair drier is available and hot tubes. This hostal is economically priced and you get what you pay for: tiny, but incredibly clean rooms. I spent two nights here and was impressed by the customer service of the front desk personnel. The room, while not incredibly modern or big, was spotless. There was not a speck of dirt or dust on the floor, the tub was clean enough that you'd feel comfortable to have a bath in it, and the sheets and towels smelled so fresh. The hostal is well located just between Tirso de Molina and Jacinto Benevente. You can easily access the building with your room key. There is an elevator. Capable wifi. The front desk staff held my baggage in a secure room on the day of my checkout so that I was free to move about the city without the hassle of carrying...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we were very satisfied.
