A local friend recommended Pez Tortilla, and it was a fantastic tip! If you prefer your tortilla on the runnier, more molten side, this is your place. The tortilla de patatas here is unlike the more common, firm style. It’s gloriously soft and custardy in the center, almost like a perfect scramble, which is exactly how I love it.

But the biggest surprise for me was the croquetas. We started with the croquetas de jamón (ham croquettes), and they were so unbelievably good that we had to order another round immediately. For our second, we tried the truffle and mushroom ones, and they were just as divine. The breading on both was incredibly thin and perfectly crisp, and the inside was the creamiest, most velvety filling imaginable. A huge plus was that they were served at the perfect temperature – pleasantly warm all the way through without being scorching hot.

Both the tortilla and the croquetas were amazing with a cold non-alcoholic beer....

This place is one of the most popular spots for tortillas and beer. The location is very central and the interior is small, so there are often lines. It's worth it though as the tortilla was amazing! Really soft and creamy, and full of flavor. You have to go up to the bar to order and be prepared to do it quick/without waiting for someone to address you. They have alot of customers so they are busy, but still very friendly! The tap beer choices were great and especially refreshing after a long day of walking. Highly recommend trying multiple dishes as they were all so good (you'll want more after one...

I had always wanted to try Pez Tortilla's famous tortilla, and now I understand why it is so famous! One of the best tortillas I have ever tasted! They were out of the traditional potato and onion tortilla (my favorite) - no wonder they ran out - and thanks to that, I was able to try the tomato, cheese and basil one - very tasty! We also ordered some mushroom, ham and stew croquettes, and we loved them all (especially the mushroom ones). The place is very small, and there is little space, but that makes it more special. Highly recommended for those who want to try a good...
