Excellent location on Santa Ana square with great people watching, umbrellas and a misters system for cooling. We returned many time. Sangria options are great and better value by the glass vs pitcher. The service was outstanding. Melissa and her outdoor team are cheerful, kind, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. We came back mainly to see them and support their exceptional customer service. My Traveling partner is vegetarian and there were many options for him. We had been in Spain for a number of weeks and I was just craving some chicken wings and shrimp on a stick. They also offer small apps like a smash burger, Camembert on toast and baby fried squid . Patio tables on this square fill up by 8, this place first. They have picture menus posted and on the placemats plus a QR code to scan. There is a lot of indoor seating that has many private nooks. Bathrooms are trendy and very clean. I will again mention the attentive, kind, rapid service. They had additional support that ran drinks and food. My favorite place in Madrid. FYI Monday is free at the Thiesen museum. First floor the best.

Yesterday, my wife and I, along with our friends, took a delightful stroll in Central Madrid. As we wandered through the streets, we came to the Plaza Santa Ana. The square was bustling with activity, and we were drawn to the lively atmosphere of the Tapa Tapa Restaurant. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the fabulous weather. The service at Tapa Tapa Restaurant was excellent. Kudos to Joann, the manager! Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We started our meal with a pitcher of sangria, which was refreshing and delicious. For our main course, we ordered Arroz Negra con sepia de playa y aoili, pescadito frito, mussels, and chaperones. All of the dishes were cooked perfectly and were bursting with flavor. We especially enjoyed the Arroz, which was a flavorful black rice dish with squid, octopus, and mussels. We finished our meal with a few more glasses of sangria. By the time we left, we were all feeling very full and satisfied. We had a wonderful time at Tapa Tapa Restaurant, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid.

Tapa Tapa Santa Ana in Madrid is a true gem for anyone who loves authentic Spanish tapas. Nestled in the vibrant Santa Ana square, this spot offers a perfect mix of traditional and modern tapas with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu is diverse, featuring classics like patatas bravas and jamón ibérico, along with unique creations that showcase the chef’s creativity. The ambiance is lively yet relaxed, making it an ideal place to unwind with friends or family. Service could be improved. The staff is more doesn't really speak English and they're quite slow, even though they're friendly and try their best. Each dish is artfully presented and bursting with flavor, capturing the essence of Spanish cuisine. Their wine and sangria pair wonderfully with the food, rounding out a delightful culinary experience. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, Tapa Tapa Santa Ana is a must-visit for a genuine taste of Spain.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming tapas restaurant in the heart of Madrid, and it was an unforgettable experience! The moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, with a warm and lively atmosphere typical of Spanish eateries.

Now, let’s talk about the food—simply amazing! The small plates offered an impressive variety, each dish more flavorful than the last. The jamón ibérico was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, perfectly complemented by a selection of fine cheeses. The patatas bravas had just the right amount of kick, and the pulpo a la gallega was tender and seasoned to perfection. One of the highlights for me was the tortilla española—golden on the outside and soft inside, an absolute must-try.

The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff were attentive and passionate about the menu, providing fantastic recommendations. They took the time to explain each dish, ensuring that we had a well-rounded and enjoyable experience. Despite the restaurant being busy, they were incredibly efficient, and we never felt rushed.

Overall, this tapas spot is a gem in Madrid, offering high-quality dishes with superb service. If you’re looking for authentic flavors and a warm, welcoming vibe, this is the place to go! Highly recommended! Thank you Nicole for the...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tapa Tapa, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the warm and lively atmosphere made us feel right at home. The décor was cozy yet vibrant, perfectly setting the tone for an evening of great food and fun.

The tapas menu was extensive, offering a variety of traditional Spanish dishes with a modern twist. Each dish was more flavorful than the last – the patatas bravas were crispy perfection, the gambas al ajillo were succulent and garlicky, and the chorizo was cooked to just the right level of spice.

What truly elevated the evening, however, was the outstanding service. Andrea and Nicole, our waitresses for the night, were nothing short of fantastic. Andrea was incredibly attentive, offering great recommendations and ensuring our drinks were always topped up. Nicole's warmth and enthusiasm were contagious, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Both were friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about making sure every guest had a great time.

If you're looking for a place that combines delicious food, an inviting atmosphere, and top-tier service, Tapa Tapa is the place to...
