Cuit — Restaurant in Palma

Cuit is an incredible place and a must-visit in Palma!

The service Not only we were accepted without a reservation on a Friday night, we also got a table with a great view. The service was excellent from the first till the last minute. The manager is very friendly and attentive, he gave advice and answered all of the questions. The waiters were always available, we didn’t need to wait for anything at all. Everybody speaks English perfectly.

The place Beautiful view on Palma and the Cathedral. Laconic and stylish interior, comfortable chairs, pleasant light. Enough space for everyone, it’s not crowded.

The food Amazing. The dishes are an unusual mix of ingredients, it’s a great experience! They look delicious and they are delicious. In addition to what we’ve ordered, they offered a small amuse-bouche in the beginning and small desserts in the end of the meal for free. They also have local wine from Mallorca which tastes great.

The price-quality For a quality and service like this, the prices are not high at all! In Paris, for a price like this you’d get a basic salad, steak and rude attitude.

The good stuff first: great wine!! Good service! Great view. Really nice amuses bouches and post dessert goodies. Good starters, especially the ones with (white) truffle!! The main courses were not great. Mine was very well presented, but...meh. Nothing special. The red snapper portion was minuscule and overcooked. The cod and cuttlefish rice was not great, cod definitely either frozen or from dry, vs fresh fish. It looked ugly on the plate when it was served out of the clay pot. Needed at least a bit of green garnish!! Disappointed. Food is correctly cooked, but is missing the flavour. Salt is not the only addition that will deepen, pop or enhance the flavour of...

The service was not good at all. We went because we wanted to try the menu, but they have a rule that, if you want to take the 6 step menú, you can only do it if the whole group takes it.

We were 8 ppl, which makes difficult to make all want the same thing, we had one vegetarian and one pregnant lady, that couldnt eat the menú. So we were not alowed to have it (even if we would have had 6 menús)

The rule makes no sense, if these two people were sitted in a separate table, we could have had it, but no.
