I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for Ama because of just how lovely the experience was - especially thanks to the owner. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The owner was warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable - the kind of person who clearly cares about every guest that walks through the door.

He chatted to us throughout the night, making the atmosphere feel more like a dinner at a friend’s place than a typical restaurant. After our meal (which was excellent - fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented), he brought over complimentary limoncello and strawberries, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch.

No tienen hoja de reclamaciones y te compensan con unas patatillas. No volveremos. En respuesta a la contestación de la propietaria: su versión de los hechos difiere mucho de la realidad. Su comportamiento no fue amable, ni por asomo. Así se ve que en la contestación amenazan con una denuncia. Jamás en mi vida me he metido con una mujer y mucho menos me he referido a usted como la camarera rubia, así que si quiere hacerse la víctima firmando así su respuesta, adelante. Yo me enorgullezco de una mujer empoderada y propietaria, así que por ese lado, enhorabuena. No mezclemos. Por supuesto que si nos hubiesen informado que prefieren disponer de las mesas para cenas no hubiésemos entrado al local, pero ahí nadie nos avisó, pedimos bebida y miramos algo para picar, pero no nos convenció. Nos fijamos y en las mesas (que por cierto, no son 8, son más contando las de la terraza) no todo el mundo estaba comiendo, así que debe ser que eso les molestaba bastante, cosa que puedo llegar a entender, pero que al cliente no se lo saben transmitir. Se puede ver en muchas otras reseñas que cuando todo está bien son ustedes muy amables, pero cuando hay quejas contestan muy mal y ese es el comportamiento por el que solicité una Hoja de Reclamaciones, que están obligados a dar al cliente y que a mí, no me dieron. Quisieron compensar con un bowl de patatas fritas. La clienta que les defendió, una persona maravillosa, no entendía el motivo del enfado, que no era por lo que solicitaban la mesa, si no por el trato y la contestación recibidas. Tuvimos que aguantar que me siguiesen gritando y hablando de malas formas y que dijesen que solo quería montar un show. Aún así pagué la cuenta religiosamente y me fui. Deberían mirar un poco más el conjunto y no centrarse en que solo ustedes tienen razón.
