My 3 kids age 11 to 16 and I stayed in a 4-person room for 2 nights on the 8th floor. Room was clean, bright, and there's a big window in washroom. Complimentary hairbrush/razor/toiletries/tea/coffee/slipper... Beds are clean and very comfortable, a little on the firm side, if you're used to the soft hotel beds in the US. Air conditioning can be adjusted and made the room cold enough for us. Room is very quiet, did not hear from any neighbor even once.
Included breakfast was a bit hit! Chef Yi-he did a great job, everything tasted amazing! Salad, dragon fruit, the usual side dishes that goes with congee, vegetarian chicken, pork floss, steam buns in flavor of meat/sesame/custard/brown sugar/chia siu pork, and soup, toast, chicken nuggets, eggs, stirfry vegetables, currey, rice, congee, minced pork sauce for rice, juice, milk... and more. Just the food alone is worth over $10 USD per person in my opinion.
Front desk was staffed 24/7 and the staff were always courteous and helpful. Although we didn't come here for the aspect of kid's play areas or fairytale theme, I would imagine little ones having a blast here. Also, I originally did not care for hot springs, as we stayed in Jiao-xi only to visit relatives. However the square tub was very inviting so we all took turn soaking in it. The hot spring water was not smelly at all. The square tub was just the right size and angle to tilt your head back and relax, without sliding back into the tub. There's a shower next to the tub, with water stream at steady temperature and pressure.
I definitely will stay here again and have no problem recommending this...

If customers don’t want to go outside, staying in the hotel is a good choice for them to have a good time as well. Moreover, the decoration of the hotel let me feel I am in the fairy tale. It is a quite comfortable place for customers to relax. However, there are some services that I was unsatisfied. First is the room size. The double room I booked in reality was smaller than I saw on the internet. In addition, the air in the room was stuffy. Although the room was clean, it didn’t fulfill my expectation at all. Furthermore, there is a hot spring bath in the room, but when I opened the tap and waited for almost 15 minutes, the water was still room-temperature. Then, I called receptionist for help. She asked us to let the water run until it turned warm. Therefore, we waited for another 10 minutes until the hot spring was warm. I thought it wasted water and would not good for sustainable tourism. In conclusion, the quality for the price is not bad. The receptionists are friendly and trying to provide best service for customers. Although some services need to be improved, the experience for me...

From there turn right and walk along Jiaoxi Road until you reach a road junction and see a building opposite with the words 'SLOT MACHINE' and on the left, you will see King Hotel. But 'King' is in Chinese characters on the building. Cross over to the building with the words 'SLOT MACHINE', turn left and cross the road again and you will see a laundry shop. Continue walking straight and you the hotel is just a few doors away. When we left, it was raining so we took a taxi to the bus station and it cost about NT120.||If you are coming from Jiaoxi Train Station, the walk is much shorter. Exit from the station, keep left and walk straight ahead. Cross the road over to a pastry shop, continue walking straight and cross another small road (no zebra crossing) and continue walking straight and you'll reach the hotel in less than a minute.||The room and bathroom were spacious and had a very large bathtub. We reached earlier than the check in time and the staff allowed us to check in slightly earlier after checking that our room was ready. Breakfast was acceptable and was replenished quickly. There is hot ginger tea and a water dispenser...
