We wanted to try a hotspring hotel and this hotel got our attention due to the price and location.
We arrived early. Greeted by a friendly lady and got a quick orientation of the hotel, who gave us very detailed info on where to go while waiting for the check-in time at 3 pm. We were there on the 7/12/2023.
The room we got is a family room that sleeps 4 pax. The room is clean and comfortable. The Hotspring is a nice feature for anyone wanting to try it with privacy.
Suggestion: The hotel needs more hangers for towers and clothes
Location: It is a 10 min walk to the town area, during winter it is nice to walk, but during summer I think it won't be too pleasing. Due to the location not being too near to the town centre, I guess the price is also more reasonable. We enjoyed the walk (especially after a full meal dinner) and found the experience of seeing the town on foot quite pleasing.
The car park is just right next door so for those coming by car it is not an issue.
The breakfast is also surprisingly nice with very good coffee.
Thank you once again to the management on doing a great job running this...
Read moreLocated about 10 mins walk away from the town center. It wasn't far away, but would be more convenient to drive here. The hotel offers parking on booking.
Due to the covid situation, breakfast was boxed and delivered to the room in the morning at the time we picked on arrival. Breakfast was totally beyond expectation, with a lot of options, offered with drink and really tasty.
Room was clean and bright, hotspring pool in the room was nice and with decent size. Public pools were not opened due to the covid situation so we couldn't try them out unfortunately.
Late check-out was pretty expensive tho, extra NTD$500 for 1 hour late check-out. A lot of hotel would offer late check-out for free when it's not busy. However, 1 hr for NTD$500 on a quiet weekday night is really not a good deal. That was the only disappointing thing we...
Read moreMy mother and I stayed for two nights here; the rooms were pristine, comfortably cool, and very quiet. The hotsprings in our rooms were delightful to soak in after a day's hike, and overall, very soothing.
As for staff and breakfast, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. I had a crossoint with an egg omlette, and my mother had a tofu salad. Filling, but light enough to eat before a hike.
Checkout was reasonable, 11am. Also, we were able to store our luggage at the hotel and sightsee. We picked up our luggage when we left in the afternoon.
Overall, this hotel was peaceful, away from the bustling streets and noise, but close enough to walk to the city center. When we visit in the future, we will...
