I recently had trying the coffee and waffles at iKari Coffee Taipei Main Station and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and friendly service.

The menu offered a variety of coffee options, from classic drip coffee to specialty lattes. I ordered a latte and was impressed with the smooth and rich flavor. The barista clearly took great care in crafting the perfect cup of coffee.

But the real star of the show was the waffles. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. I ordered them with honey and whipped cream, which added a nice touch of tartness to balance out the sweetness.

Staff that served me today was pushy. Said to me there is only a 3hr limit stay. Quiet and easy to work. Not too crowded. No outlets. Needed to ask for wifi password. She was reluctant to give it to me. I'm wondering if she just didn't like foreigners. The lady would come out to clean tables at my 2hr mark and stare at me, almost wanting me to leave. I was very uncomfortable. I ordered the veggie plate. The eggs, salad and potatoes were good. The chocolate smoothie was also delicious. The service is the only thing that sucked. Busy coffee shop with a nice atmosphere. A good mix of young and old, leisure and business customers. The server (seemed to be a supervisor or manager) spoke impeccable English when I placed my order. The food and drink arrived quickly. Actually, I was given a voucher for a free breakfast so I didn’t have a choice in what I ate. I thought the food I ate was just ok but the sandwiches looked a lot better. They have cold and hot water you can help yourself to. The WiFi is free for 30 minutes which I guess is to stop people sitting on laptops...
