50 Lan (Taipei Station) — Local services in Taipei

Wanted to get bubble tea in Taiwan, and my mom said this shop is very popular. Didn’t know what to order, so I got the first drink on the top 5 list—Light oolong tea with bubble and coconut jelly for 50 NT$.

Unfortunately, every drink has actual tea in it, so there was nothing I could give my toddler. In the U.S., bubble tea shops tend to have fruity drink options without tea that I can share with my little one.

You can customize the ice and sweetness levels, so I got half sugar and less ice. In retrospect, I should have gotten more ice because my drink wasn’t that cold on a sweltering hot day.

The drink itself was quite tasty, with a hint of citron and very chewy tapioca balls and coconut jelly. Even though it said light oolong, the tea flavor was quite strong.

Next time I want to try a drink...

If you want to try 50嵐 in Taiwan, you don’t have to buy it from this store at Taipei Main Station. There’s many branches all over Taipei and Taiwan. However, the service at this store is REALLY BAD. The staff not only gets orders wrong, but the drinks also taste bad. What’s worse, they closed the store before the official closing time(22:30) without informing customers in advance. They should have told people when they would stop accepting orders instead of making customers wait for a long time. We only to be told that the store was closed. Many of us took a long way to get here.🥲

To all visitors, we warmly welcome you to Taiwan to enjoy our food and culture, BUT be aware that the service at this store might disappoint...

我要波霸紅茶拿鐵，做成珍珠鮮奶 拿回去換之後變仙草紅茶拿鐵⋯？？ 然後店員感覺很強顏歡笑😅我知道人滿多你們滿累的但連續做錯也不是我的問題吧⋯ 回覆店家的留言： 有喔我非常確定是你們門市呦，因為我去你們家前後至少買了10-20次 首先是我在之前來和你們門市其他店員點餐時都點「波霸鮮奶茶」，店員並沒有聽不懂的問題，今天狀況可能是因為太吵店員沒有聽清楚我可以理解 但是key單上確定就是我點了「波霸」，而非「珍珠」，你們第一次就做錯了

其次是如果菜單上沒有這款飲品，那為什麼店員會做出這個東西？？是不是貴店的員工訓練要再加強呢～～ 我從頭到尾沒有提到「仙草」二字，甚至店員給我的仙草只有一點點，如果有給夠量我也就算了，但仙草的量跟以前在別間店比也少少的

最後爬了留言發現貴店同樣的問題並不是第一次出現，並不是每個留言的客人都是想要找貴店麻煩，在指證對方沒有查...
