Unforgettable Stay at Kaisanzibar – A Place Full of Warmth and Style
From the moment we arrived at Kaisanzibar, we were warmly welcomed – the first impression was truly outstanding. We were initially greeted by Abdul at the reception with a friendly smile, and shortly after, Manager Munir personally took care of us. He kindly guided us to our room, taking the time to explain everything in detail. This sincere hospitality remained consistent throughout our entire stay – the whole team was attentive, kind, and incredibly courteous.
Right at the beginning, we were treated to a refreshing welcome drink and a short, thoughtfully presented introduction to the property. This small gesture created a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere right away.
Our room was simply fantastic – tastefully furnished, modern, equipped with the latest technology, and spotlessly clean. The amenities were not only functional but also of high quality. It was clear that great care was taken in both design and comfort.
Another highlight was the food: truly culinary excellence. Each dish was lovingly prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The restaurant staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure our satisfaction – offering genuine hospitality with a warm smile.
A special thanks also goes to the owner of the hotel, with whom we had a personal conversation. A minor concern on our part was taken seriously and addressed generously and professionally. It was evident: guest satisfaction is a top priority here, driven by true passion for hospitality and management.
I can confidently say that Kaisanzibar is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in Zanzibar. The location is ideal – close to the ocean, many nearby activities, and great places to explore. Whether you’re looking to relax or seeking adventure, this is the perfect base.
Without a doubt, I will happily return to Kaisanzibar on any future trip to Zanzibar – a place where service, quality, and heart come together in a truly...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place but I believe the hotel opened too early, they are really new and have a lot of things to work on. I was told that the jacuzzi in my room could not be used which was very disappointing as it seems other people’s jacuzzi was working - i wasn’t offered any compensation to apologies for this, when you switched on the tap of the jacuzzi in my room rusty water poured out. The ceiling fan did not work in my room. There were constant power outages specifically around 7-8pm daily lasting between 1-10 minutes - the employees were great and would provide me with a lamp. This place is called Kai Zanzibar Hotel and Spa - there is no spa. They recently opened their kitchen, i had a seafood platter and the fish wasn’t cooked throughout. In the Restaurant area, the salt and pepper shakers were empty. Whilst in my room, 3/4 women came to take inventory and they also noted that things were missing like some decor etc - it was awkward, could this not have been done before i checked in or before the hotel opened? The hotel manager was great to guests but appeared to be quite rude to the staff, i saw him harshly shouting at employees on two separate occasions, he even pushed a male employee at one point. Also note that the wifi is very poor, i ended up purchasing an e-sim in the end and that worked throughout.
I didn’t complain or make too much of a fuss because the place is beautiful but I do think they need to work on things and maybe reopen at...
Read moreWe spent nearly a week at the newly opened KAI Zanzibar Hotel & Spa in Nungwi as the final stop of our honeymoon — and what a perfect ending it was! From the moment we arrived, the KAI team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.
They personalized so many details for us, including a beautiful floating breakfast to celebrate our honeymoon. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was absolutely stunning — and yet we still found ourselves admiring the gorgeous common pool area too.
When we arrived after a long safari tour, I wasn’t feeling well, and the team immediately made me a fresh ginger tea. They even arranged a dinner takeout and brought it to our room so I could rest — it’s these thoughtful gestures that really stood out to us.
The entire facility is peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. Our villa and pool were cleaned daily, and it was such a joy to come back to a fresh, welcoming space every day. Mounir and the whole team were so warm and attentive — they truly made sure we were looked after from start to finish.
The location is great too — close to the beach and nightlife, yet tucked away enough for some serenity. We’re so happy we chose KAI for the final part of our honeymoon and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a boutique luxury experience with exceptional, personalised service! Thanks again for this...
