The food is okayish, flies everywhere. I found the reviews of this restaurant too generous, many of the items on the menu were not available and the service was particularly slow. We ordered a bruschetta, it was American bread barely toasted full of onions and tomatoes, we took a chicken quesadilla, the tortilla looked fried and it was full of cheap cheese. If you are nearby and you are hungry go, but do not go here on purpose as we did.

Best restaurant in the area. Absolutely brilliant quality food. Excellent food hygeine. Food freshly cooked and served hot. Fresh juices are lovely. Courteous and polite staff. Very good prices. The restaurant looks basic. Another review mentions flies, but the flies dont bother when fans are running. The food is fantastic. We will eat here again as much as we can before moving on. Highly recommended.

Nous étions logés à 500m, nous y avons mangé 5 fois, que du local, parfois à des horaires improbables (15h30 après le retour de plongée, voire 16h00) et avons toujours été bien reçus. Les fruits de mers sont excellents : Langouste, gambas, crevettes, Calamars d'excellente qualité. Je recommande, en entrée, la salade de calamars façon Thai et la salade mangue et avocat Les jus de fruits de fruits frais, confectionnés à la demande sont excellents (vous pouvez même demander des mélanges non proposés) . Les portions sont bonnes, la langouste est entière et, si elle est petite (pèche oblige), ils en mettent 1/2 en plus, voire une entière. Tarif très raisonnable (30.000 TZS pour la langouste), attention si vous payez en Carte bleue, une majoration de 5% est appliquée sur les tarifs. Concernant les avis négatifs : Allez y pour manger de la cuisine locale ! La pizza c'est en Italie et les Burgers au Etats Unis ! Le service est effectivement lent mais, en vacances, je préfère attendre et avoir des produits frais, cuisinés à ma demande que d'être servi immédiatement avec des trucs préfabriqués qui arrivent vite ... chacun sa vision.

This restaurant was a recommendation from the diving centre’s teacher (thanks Amelie!) and we are really happy to have tasted this absolute local experience! The owner is a young motivated and ambitious man, who told us a little bit about the history of his restaurant and how he built it up. It was very inspiring listening to him. The restaurant is hold simple, but with a lovely atmosphere and nice ambiance. The staff was super welcoming and friendly and the food typical and yummy. The price of the whole meal absolutely good. Thank you for the lovely evening...

Amazing local dishes made with love!! The staff are welcoming and friendly and the prices are amazing too especially if you’re staying in the nearby resorts/hotels!! You can’t compare hotel food to this place. Riziki, Leyla and Machano are all amazing. The owner Machano was very helpful and even hotspotted me to use my phone for something. Machano even sang Jambo for us! Have nothing bad to say! Defo visit and support the local community...
