Considering the hostel has ‘comfy bed’ in its name, I really expected the beds to be…comfy. They were far from it. I woke up with back pain and neck pain from the mattress during my stay. The top bunk I was in had a beam running across the ceiling which just made the space extremely tight. And I’m not entirely sure what it is about top bunks but hostels never seem to what to clean them well; spider webs were hanging all over the place, including thin spiders to accompany them. I was frustrated with the bed situation but most of all I really disliked the service here. I felt wholly ignored by staff at times. The woman at the front desk was infuriating to deal with. I heard her complain one night to another customer about a (scheduled) late check-in, which I thought was wholly unprofessional. To top it off the next day my wife and I notified her that we had to check out at 4:15am to catch a bus (which we had written on the check-in sheet that nobody bothered to check) and were then faced with questions regarding it, clearly as it was inconvenient for her to be awake at that time for us. Then making statements about “well the buses don’t start till 5”? To be quite Frank I don’t care WHEN the buses start. If I’m able to check out at any time (as was stated when I booked the place) then I will be checking out at any time. I, nor any other customer, should need to vouch for themselves in that regard and it really honestly just was the last nail in the coffin for me. We had to leave early to account for any issues in getting to the station, getting our tickets printed out, and also finding our gate. It’s cheap, it’s fine. But the service really made me not want to go back or recommend...
Read moreI stayed in this Hostel for 2 nights and it was the best sleep at all, the beds are really good, the pillow and the sheets are really soft, I love it!||The area is quiet and very close to the Khao San Road (just 5min walk).||The rooms are good isolated so you can't hear anything from outside.||You can definitely see that the whole building is completely new.||The facilities are very clean and I really like the shower (first time that you really able to choose between cold and warm and I mean cold cold)||The staff is really friendly and always there to help. I could leave my luggage there for 4 days because I went to Phuket and I said I will come back after my little trip to Phuket, to stay here 2 more nights.||||I stayed in more hostels here around Bangkok and I have to say this one is by far my favorite.||It's definitely not a party hostel, but If you looking for something quiet, this is probably the best opportunity for a small budget.||||Go for it!||Trust...
Read moreGreat location to go party on Khaoson Road and to discover that nice part of Bangkok. Large privacy curtain on the bunk beds were great too. Free water refills, although no one explained this during check in. It felt as if the bare minimum was being done to keep the place going. The restroom floors are in dire need of a deep cleaning, they are black! Almost every single toilet seat was partly loose or completely loose during my entire weeks stay. The towel bar in my bunk was barely holding on to the wall and I'm sure this didn't just happen. Also the fact that their is a toilet on the 3rd floor but no sink makes it pointless, might as well just walk down one more floor to where toilet AND sinks are. Living in a hostel shows you how inconsiderate young adults are nowadays. Leaving all kinds of trash in showers and restrooms, not flushing the freaking toilet, unable to keep their stuff together so it ends up spread throughout the...
